Aetius was finding more and more secrets in the cave, and it was very hard for the snowy owl to put the pieces of the puzzle together. She had met Thothaga, the spider, whom was looking for answers herself. She made a deal with the spider and she intended to keep it. But the owl wanted to find out things for herself as well. Maybe unlocking these secrets would benefit all gembounds of the cave. Aetius knew that many gembounds, except for the masters were clueless on their home's history. Though Aetius was loyal to the cave and the masters, she had to find out these things. Aetius flew into Orion and gracefully landed on the Throne in Orion. She attempted to use hindsight, to hopefully try and see who ruled on this throne. Unfortunately, nothing had happened. Oh well, she would try again.

Aetius attempted to use hindsight on the Throne once again. Finally, the spell worked and Aetius could see the vision that came with the spell. The owl paid close attention to detail as the vision played. Each vision she got from using her power, she mentally locked each one away in her mind. Aetius was grateful enough to have this power. Without it, she would be lost, and she certainly would not get any answers from the masters. Aetius wanted to uncover the story behind this cave. This was a main goal of hers. In these caves, secrets were meant to be unlocked, not stay hidden beneath the rocks.

The vision Aetius sees is dark, as if in shadows. The sound is muffled, as if underwater. Though the spellcast was successful, it did not pull the detail as clearly as it may be able. Aetius may see the faint glimpse of a two-legged creature sitting in the throne with two arms placed upon its armrests. Long, flowing hair sweeps around the body of the creature, who seems to be observing the city in the distance.

Aetius did not understand at all what the vision meant, and did not get a clear view on who sat in the throne. No, this would not do at all. The snowy owl wanted answers and answers she would get. She tapped into her magic again, using hindsight once more. She hoped and prayed that it would work. Fortunately, it did work and Aetius was gifted with yet another vision. It was as if trying to match a puzzle piece, and with each vision she tried to see if any of what she saw was linked to one another. Each piece was important though, and not to be discarded. This vision was important like the rest of them.

The vision shifted and focused on the face of the creature. It had weird, smooth skin and perfect complexion that was so pure and white, it looked as if it might be carved from alabaster; or perhaps it was lacking in color at all. The faint lights of Orion glittered on its pale skin. Its eyes were closed and it looked as if it were deep in thought. In the middle of its forehead was a gleaming, round ruby.

Aetius could not believe what she had just seen! No, now she was getting excited by the visions she was seeing. It was as if the creature sitting in that throne was familiar, but she couldn't exactly know who. No, this was not enough, she needed to tap into her magic again. Aetius focused once again as she sat on the throne in Orion. Having arcane magic was something to be used with responsibility, though Aetius already knew this. She was using her magic to find the truth, and there was nothing wrong with that. She focused on the next vision that came into her head.

The vision remained, focusing on the creature's face, except now the light was dimming. Still, the eyes were closed. There was distant sound, like muffled voices arguing. Suddenly there was silence, and the eyes slowly opened as if waking from sleep: they were pale blue, lacking true pigmentation, intense and bright through the darkness. They stared tiredly ahead almost as if looking directly at Aetius.

Aetius decided to try and see one last vision on the throne. She saw what the ruler looked like, and what the color of their eyes were. But Aetius wanted to see the creature in action. She wanted to see it move, speak, or at least say its name. Just seeing its appearance was not enough. Aetius reached out with her magic one more time to see the creature in her vision do more than just sit there. Though Aetius had reason to believe that the creature in the throne was someone she recognized. Not by appearance, but the placement of his gem. No, it couldn't be. Could it? The snowy owl paid attention to the vision, more closely than ever. She wanted to unravel who the creature sitting there was. Hopefully, she would see the creature in action.

The strength of the owl's Hindsight pulled a more specific image, indeed what she was after:
Slender body was upright, the creature standing on its two legs and at the base of the throne platform: the image almost appeared to be lacking color, for the creature had pale colorless skin and silvery white hair draped from its head, almost as long as its body; it was tall, its head bowed and looking at something in its upturned, cupped hands. Its eyes were the blue of thin ice before they closed, exhausted, eyebrows knitting together as one of its hands reached up to hold them in frustration, shifting the tiny bundle to the other hand.
"I'm TELLING you, they're a bunch of LIARS. We should EAT THEM!" screamed a buzzing voice from within his palms.
"Ah, Nemean," sang his voice. It was effeminate, soft and gentle. Warm and welcoming. He uttered a breathy laugh and inhaled sharply, letting out a long and slow sigh. He rubbed his eyes and then patted the top of the sprite's head with a single fingertip. "What does Totum think? And Enki?" he asked as the vision started to fade and grow dim.
Through the growing silence, Nemean's voice could be heard yelling, "SHE KILLED TOTUM—er, half—" her voice bubbled angrily as it was lost in the fading magic.

Aetius had seen enough, she had definitely seen enough. She knew who Nemean was, one of the masters of the cave. She had not met Nemean before, but she had met Astraea. The snowy owl knew there were secrets meant to be kept, but now that was no longer the case. Now, Aetius was going to go find Nemean. Aetius was not stupid, for she knew exactly who was sitting in that throne. It was said that Deer Dad had a different form. Aetius knew that that creature in the throne, had to be Deer Dad. She hoped Nemean would be honest to her.
