Zutar was exploring Eridanus, her home in which she was hatched in. She was strictly instructed by her mother, Aetius, to stay in Eridanus until she thought she was ready. Now of course was not the time. Zutar was the mix of a snowy owl and cougar, so she looked very interesting. Zutar carried herself with pride and nobility like her mother. Her head was held high and she walked with her owl like legs moving with grace. Instead of fur, she had feathers, and she was already an excellent climber. She came across the garden which surrounded the home tree. Aetius already told her about the Kingdom of Eridanus and how important it was to respect plant life. She walked up carefully to the garden and took a quick sniff. They smelled really lovely to her. Zutar then sat down and decided to sing a song. Mother taught her many songs of fantasy, but she liked to sing songs of her own. "A tree it was, filled with battle scars. A sign of a war, held in the past. A testament to the raging screams. Yet it stands and still lasts. Let it be a lesson for future peace, and calm for the caves." She was also hatched with the same proper accent Aetius had. If anyone knew Aetius, they would know this was obviously her daughter.

@Rift

It wasn't exactly very hard to find Rift - he spent much of his time taking care of the garden, carefully cultivating the plant life of the beautiful field. The battle scars, save for The Hollow, had finally worn away, leaving the same wild beauty that the garden had held before. He heard a soft singing from behind him and turned around, alert for a moment, before relaxing. A young cub was standing on the outskirts of the garden, looking very very much like him when he had been young, save for the bird-like tail and claws. He'd seen her before, but hadn't yet approached. Aetius's child.

He stood and softly padded over, the words of the song registering in his head and sending the fur on the back of his neck bristling. He sped up his pace, expression twisting with concern. Who had taught her that at such a young age? And who'd turned it into a song.

"Young one," he rumbled as he got close. "Please, do not sing of such things so freely. The scars in the earth and on our skin may have healed, but there are many whose hearts are still damaged from the fighting."

Zutar turned to the voice that spoke to her, and her ears flattened out of fear like a child that had just been scolded. Bad behavior wasn't good, and she quickly apologized. Though, she knew who this was, as her mother told her of the guardian that led the kingdom. "I deeply apologize. I meant no disrespect. I like to learn a lot, and when mother told me of the Kingdom of Eridanus, I asked how it was formed. She said I was too young to know, but I begged her to tell me. I like to sing, so I made a song out of it. You must be Rift. My name is Zutar." Her ears perked up and she gave Rift a polite smile. Then her head cocked to the side. "Am I a part of the Kingdom of Eridanus?" She didn't truly know, but hoped she was. She wanted to tend to life like the others in the kingdom.

@Rift

Rift stopped in front of the cub, tail slowly swinging behind him. "It's good to meet you, Zutar. Yes, I'm Rift, the Guardian of this kingdom." He smiled softly. The gentle enthusiasm vaguely reminded him of himself when he was a kitten. "You can be, if you'd like. Any child of the Kingdom is worthy of trust."
