Aetius flew into Orion to look for a diamond shard for herself, as Nemean said she could have it as a reward. She looked around for a moment, but it didn't take long for her to find what she was looking for. It was a flat piece of diamond shard, sparkling and reflective. Aetius could see her reflection in it. Deciding that this would do, the owl grabbed it in her talons and flew off in the direction of Eridanus to put it in her nest. The shard would do nice in her nest, but it also represented her loyalty to Nemean, her master. Being a servant of one of the masters gave her more purpose in these caves, alongside being a researcher. She would never think otherwise.
