Tethys knew there was secrets above the land, but what lay beneath the sea? The small seal pup had gotten over what that monster Astraea did. She hated that wretched deer. She would not let him scare her, she would discover what secrets and lore lay beneath the water. Most gembounds could find out anything they wanted on land. Though Tethys decided to focus on what lay beneath the sea. Gembounds didn't give the mystical world underwater enough credit. Tethys swam up to one of the islands in Fornax, until she made contact with it. She would then use her arcane magic on the island, to see if it would give her a clue of the lore beneath the water. The leopard seal would then feel her magic working. She would find out what lore and secrets lay beneath the waters.

For a moment, it was as if the room shifted around Tethys. It was dimmer, even warmer, the sea heaving and splashing as if disrupted. On the island's shore stood two figures--indistinct, in the dark, though one seemed oddly centaur-like in build. Both were breathing heavily. Their voices came unclearly, full of gasps and what might have been fear, or anger, or both.

"-lock away the city, too. And throw away the key. Where?"
"She can't-" indistinct "-allowed to escape."
"Where?"
"Somewhere else-" Garbled words. "-water, for irony."
"It would-..." The voice was briefly lost to a rumble, as all of Fornax shuddered, the sea heaving. "-a bloodbath. Come-"

The rest was lost as the vision faded, shivering away into nothing. Fornax returned to itself: bright with daylight, the seas warm and calm. No one, now, stood on its island; Tethys was alone.

Tethys was somewhat shocked at what she had just seen. What did the voices mean by city and key? More importantly, was there a key in Fornax she was supposed to find. It all seemed so interesting, but at the same time it was confusing. She decided to use hindsight again on the island to get more information on the previous scenario. She was sure in her heart that she was supposed to find something, and maybe that something was a key. Though what did the voices mean by city? Was there a city in Fornax? Tethys didn't know, but she was going to find out . She felt her magic working again, as she watched the next vision.

The image flickered back into being. And, by sheer luck or perhaps Tethys's guidance, it returned to the same scene.

But the figures were done speaking. They were, in fact, leaving the island--leaving the cave, moving toward the mouth of Tunnel M. Whatever they had done, perhaps the rest of the story lay beyond Fornax entirely.

Tethys decided to leave Fornax, for she knew the story went beyond the waters of her home. She was going to find this out one way or another. She hoped that there was some sort of secrets of water she was following. She was kind of hesitant on travelling on land, but it had to be done in her eyes. She went to the shore, ready to follow the trail.
