The small pup had traveled to Fornax, happy to see water everywhere. After all, she was a semi-aquatic creature, and she was made for the water. She happily put her front two paws in the water, enjoying the feel of the waves. She simply sat where she was, as her webbed paws felt the water touch every now and then. Aquamarine did feel a little bored though since there was nobody around to talk to. That was the only downside, despite the fact that she was in her favorite place, water. The child hatched not too long ago, but she was highly intelligent. Aqua only wished she had something to do at least. Being alone was not always fun.

The leopard seal was finally grown and completely independent. She was a large predator, but she did not eat other gembounds. Though, Tethys was a large carnivore, and required a large amount of meat. As she swam, she paused, sticking her head out of the water. She spotted what looked like a capybara, a child, on their own. The child seemed kind of sad. Tethys did not like to see a child sad, so she swam over to the small herbivore. Tethys cocked her head to the side, looking at the child as she spoke. "Hello darling, I'm Tethys. How are you? You don't seem quite happy." With that she would wait for the child to speak. It was nice to see another creature who belonged to the water in Fornax. It felt like she was near gembounds she could relate to.

Zelk was confused, very confused. She decided to leave The Bonebound, because she did not feel connected to them as she once was. She was grateful to them for giving her a home, but it no longer felt like home. Zelk wanted a place to truly feel like home. She would not stop until she found it. Though, she was not entirely alone by herself. Her childhood friend Orlaith, a tiger, decided to follow her. It made the bear happy that they were together again. As the bear led the way into Fornax, she spotted a leopard seal and a capybara talking. Feeling in a friendly mood, she went up to greet them both. "Hello seal and Capybara! I am Zelk and this is my friend Orlaith!" With that she waited for them both to answer.

Orlaith decided it was time to leave the Kingdom of Eridanus. Firstly, it was to dangerous to follow them any longer, due to Astraea threatening them. Secondly, she no longer felt she fit in the kingdom either. For now she felt comfortable following her best friend Zelk for the moment. As she entered Fornax behind Zelk, she saw the bear bound off to greet two creatures near the water. Seeing that she was already introduced, she gave a simple nod to acknowledge her presence. Then she sat down with the group, simply listening into the conversation. Meeting other gembounds was very comforting. She just wished she had an actual home to go to. But the tigress had hope she would find home.

Aqua immediately perked up a the sound of all these creatures greeting her. A quick smile came on her face as she decided to answer the seal first. "My name is Aquamarine! I felt lonely, which is why I was sad, but I don't feel sad anymore!" She stood up as the waves continues to lap at her feet. She got even more happy as she then focused her attention to the bear and tiger. "Nice to meet you Zelk and Orlaith. I'm Aquamarine. You can call me Aqua for short!" With that the capybara looked up eagerly at the tiger and bear. For some reason, when she was around creatures that were meant to be in the water, she felt right. Maybe it was because being in water was what they had in common.

Tethys nodded, glad to see the pup was happy. Tethys understood completely what it meant to be alone. She briefly greeted the polar bear and tiger with respect. Then, an idea popped in her head. it was not an idea she was expecting, but a good idea nonetheless. There were many groups out there mostly made up of land mammals. But creatures made for water deserved a place, no, a kingdom of their own. A kingdom where aquatic mammals rule. "I know feeling lonely sometimes is awful." She spoke to the child first, then her attention turned to everyone at once. "What if there was a vast kingdom, where only creatures compatible with the water could live in? A kingdom made right here in Fornax?" Then she cocked her head curiously. "What if..... we made that kingdom?" With that she waited to see everyone's reaction to the conversation.

Zelk could not believe what she was hearing, but it got her excited. She then rose happily on her hind legs, wanting to hear more. "I'm in! What should the kingdom be like?" Zelk felt this was a grand idea. A kingdom made just for creatures meant to be in water! Zelk finally felt a warm feeling in her heart. A feeling that she finally found her forever home. Zelk then rose down to all fours, trying to keep excitement from bursting in her. Zelk took a look at Orlaith and could see that the tiger was definitely interested. The bear could see the feline give the seal an approving nod, wanting Tethys to continue. Zelk and Orlaith listened with complete interest, wanting to belong in a kingdom in the water.

Aqua let out a happy bark, wanting to hear of what the new kingdom would be like. A kingdom in the water would sound very fun. She spoke excitedly to Tethys, wanting to hear exactly what he kingdom was. "I want to hear about the kingdom! Tell me! I want to be a part of the kingdom!!!" With that the little capybara sat obediently, ready to hear about her potential new home. Being around creatures who were meant to be in the water, just like her, sounded very fun. Aqua felt magical in the water, but being part of a kingdom of those who were the same like her, was simply mystical.

Tethys decided that since this was her idea, and she practically lived in Fornax, she should be the group's queen. She had been thinking of starting a sea creature group for a while. She knew exactly how the group should be formed. Now, she explained how the group would be run.

"The first tier is the royalty category, those who help run the kingdom."
First is the "Ruler of the Sea": This is not just a rank, but an important right that is given or inherited. They rule over those who dwell within the kingdom, and though others may put in their opinions and ideas, The Sea Ruler's word is law. The one with this role holds authority over all the kingdom, and it is their responsibility to distribute orders and help defend the kingdom. The Sea Ruler must demand loyalty from it's members, and reinforce boundaries against those who step out of line. This rank will be mine"
"Next is The Duke or The Duchess: This rank is the sea creature that is second in command. For stability, this creature has just as much a say as the Ruler of the Sea does. But it is the Ruler of the Sea who makes the final decision. 1 gembound may occupy this position."
"The last in the royalty tier is The Sacred Council: When important matters arise, though The Sea Ruler may have the final say, but it is highly recommended that he or she seeks advice and guidance from the council. The Council's purpose is to help The Sea Ruler make decisions which are vital to the kingdom. 3 gembounds may occupy this position."

"Next are the workers category. There are no limits on the gembounds who can occupy these positions."
"Hunters of the Sea: A hunter that helps feed the kingdom. They also keep track of prey activity in the waters as well as keep note on the prey on land that come in/near the waters."
"Healers of the water: These water creatures are those who try to heal the sick of the kingdom. They also make sure that the waters of Fornax are clean, safe, and well protected."
"Warriors of the Sea: These are fierce sea creatures who defend the sea should anyone dare threaten the kingdom, or its waters. They spar to hone their skills whether it's physical combat or magic. They must be willing to help defend the kingdom and its members. Though those of other ranks are free to defend the kingdom, the Warriors of the Sea must be the first to respond."
"Researches of the water: These creatures are tasked with finding out the secrets, history and lore that lays beneath the water. There are many secrets on land, but these creatures must focus on finding secrets beneath the sea. Those with arcane magic or the hindsight spell may take on this rank."

Now onto the least pleasing rank

"There is one last category, with only one rank in it. The category is called The Damned with the rank called Those Casted Away. Just like the shore casting things far, far away. If someone has wronged the kingdom on a enormous level, then the kingdom will literally wash their paws of the individual. They will be banished from the Kingdom of Sea, never to return again. Gembounds in this category, better be especially careful when in Fornax. There is no limit on how many gembounds can occupy this position. But the creature that will occupy this position is Astraea, and do trust that he is not to be trusted at all. Please take my word when I say he is villainous. He murdered a gembound for no reason before, and threatened to kill me as a child for witnessing it." And also because she knew his secret.

"The ways of the kingdom are Importance of Water, Diplomacy, Strength, and Grace. All of which I will get into later. Our most important purpose, is to protect our own and Fornax." Tethys added one last important note. " As for creatures allowed: The only creatures allowed to be in The Sea Kingdom, is those who are meant to live in the water/or at least coexist with it. These types of creatures include seals, walruses, dolphins, octopus, polar bears, otters, beavers, and even Labrador retrievers due to their webbed paws. If it is meant to be in water, than it can join. Accepting creatures who are not meant to be in water defeats the purpose of the group's ideology, and the group itself. Is everyone in?"

Zelk let out a happy huff. The bear was definitely in, that was for sure! She gave a firm nod, confirming her place in the sea kingdom. "You can count me in! I'll protect you guys and my home in Fornax with tooth and claw. Watch me!" With that she waited for what her friend Orlaith was going to say. Zelk agreed that Tethys should take up the mantle as queen. She came up and formed the kingdom after all! Zelk felt great, she had finally found her perfect home! The bear sat looking around, seeing what would be the start of the new kingdom in the making. She wanted to belong somewhere, and she knew that place was here.
