The calf was looking at tasty leaves that were just out of reach. Well, that was not a problem for her. She opened her mouth and her long tongue wrapped around the leaves, pulling them into her mouth. She began to chew, letting a smile form on her face. The calf then smiled, and started talking to herself, not even noticing anyone was near. "Oh, that is so good. Why can't leaves grow everywhere?" She gave a soft sigh of disappointment. She loved her home, but was there anything more than just caves? She began talking to herself again. "I wonder if there is anything above and beyond these caves? Is there anything more than just what I see all the time? If I could find something like that, gembounds could have so much more fun, and maybe experience new things. Oh well I guess. If there were though, it would be really, really fun." If the okapi were to see something beyond the caves, she would always come back to the caves and stay loyal to them, but wanted to have s new experience.
