Deli
Deli didn't care that it's attack was literally doing nothing to the beast, it just kept biting and biting as much as it could, inflict pain and hurt because it hurt a lot to watch its hard work destroyed like that! Also, they were just in a fit of child-like rage and was throwing their temper around.

But then there was movement and the next thing they knew the creature was crushing them against the wall, knocking the breath out of them and wrenching something in their back. They barked in the beast's face and struggled, but its hold was tight and heavy and biting wasn't doing literally anything.

Their shoulder burned for a moment, a more unfamiliar sensation running through their throat and into their mouth, but the spell sputtered and died before it could fully manifest, leaving Deli uselessly struggling and barking their head off.

Acidic eyes narrowed further as the dog barked and barked in its face, stinky breath fanning through all six nostrils. Alpha growled, the deep sound evolving a full horrific shriek as it pushed a few steps further, hoisting Deli higher on the wall and allowing it to make use of its other arm.

"I ONLY FIXED," it barked as it lifted a hand to smack Deli's mouth, likely with more force than necessary. "STOP NOW."

Alpha tried again at screeching directly into the dog's face, more from its diaphragm to make it sound more roar-adjacent and less shrieky.

Deli
Deli continued to go apeshit as the monster adjusted its grip on them and roared loudly in their face. They were spouting something, something about fixing it?! No! NO NO NO that was WRONG! They didn't fix it they ruined it, ruined it FOREVER! They tried to voice this through their hysterical barking; "RAR AR-NO YOU DIDRRR ARF ARF ARF YOU RRRRR ARF ARF RUINED IT"

This time magic came without meaning to, suppressed through their constant smiling and staying calm and comfortable, but now that they were in a situation where they were completely losing control, well, they lost control of this as well. It was when a hefty smack laid across their muzzle, throwing their head to the side that it was all unleashed in an instant - unorganized, uncontrolled, and extremely painful. The bones that were being crushed beneath the monster's weight suddenly shifted and changed, spears and spikes jutting out suddenly from Deli's skin and spearing towards the arm holding them against the wall.

Alpha grunted in response to Deli, and then gave a shrill sort of noise as something jammed into exoskeleton and started to press into its skin. Blood trickled hotly down its right arm as it relinquished its hold on the dog and stumbled back a few steps to survey the damage.

Quills rattling and standing completely on end, the orthoclase gave another banshee-scream. It remained solidly where it was, almost entranced by the momentary, furious feeling ebbing through its veins. The green glow of its eyes seemed go grow more intense as they narrowed and watery blue blood sputtered down its arm.

Near-perfect spikes of glass started forming in a deadly lattice, born from mere dust and growing two or so feet in length. They moved in an almost-straight line, headed straight for Deli.

Deli
Deli wasn't ready for the kind of pain that the spell inflicted on them, whining as the creature jerked away from them, pulling their arm off of the bone jutting from Deli's skin. As they crumpled to the ground, pain spiked through their back from where they'd been hit against the wall. They tried to get to their feet, but something was wrong with their back. They could barely move.

They didn't see the attack coming, not until the spikes were right underneath them. There was no warning before one and then two shoved themselves right into their body fiercly. They let out a horrible screech, filling the air with the disgusting smell of carrion, but the sound was cut off in a moment as the glass shards settled. They were completely impaled by the spears - they couldn't move. Blood trickled down the sides of the glass from the wounds they'd inflicted and Deli was frozen still, utterly shocked by what had just happened.

Alpha stood and watched as glass spines pierced the dog, shrieking and completely immobilized. A pang of - something glanced through it, and its quills stopped rattling. Deli was (in its eyes, at least) being unreasonably furious, throwing a temper tantrum, but seeing the thing held up like a pig roasted over a spit... Alpha knew it didn't treat rats like this. It tried to be as fast as possible. Struggling made the meat tough, it'd learned.

This wasn't a hunting sort of thing, though. This was the orthoclase flailing around wildly to see what stuck. Deli was already incapacitated and had no methods of further injuring it over stupid lines or art or whatever. Now was a good time to just leave.

It sniffed involuntarily, and the effect was immediate. The hybrid monstrosity's eyes watered, teeth baring further into a crooked grimace. "SMELL?!" it boomed across the distance. Shaking its head around, Alpha wobbled on the spot due to the sensory assault. It was clearly distracted, eyes screwed shut and stumbling forwards and backwards.

Round 4/5
Attempt: No attempt.
Defense: Nah.
Injuries: Bone spurs in right arm, heavily disoriented.

Deli
Deli was stuck. They tried to pull themselves up and off the glass, but they were growing weaker by the second, scrabbling uselessly at the spears impaled through them. And they were still preoccupied by the fact that the beast was too close. If they pulled themselves off now, they'd just bleed to death in an instant. They didn't want to die...no, they couldn't die! Not over something this stupid!

They began barking again, although the sounds were wet and blood sprayed from their jaws every so often, as if trying to get one last revenge against the alien creature. Magic forced its way through their body, but they were weakening by the second. It couldn't break through, it couldn't form a spell. They couldn't do anything.

"STOP," the orthoclase howled through the muffled disorientation keeping it from advancing with confidence. Even with watery eyes and panting breath, Alpha could see: the little dog was going nowhere. "I FIX. YOU HURT. YOU DESERVE LOT HURT!" it bit around every word, jaws snapping with resounding clicks with every step as it shambles forwards a few steps. Wincing at the increasing stench, it paused.

Taking a deep breath, the monster-child pressed further, muscling against the bases of the glass spikes currently slicing through Deli and staining with blood by the second. Alpha scratched and pushed until they broke and the dog was back on the floor. Then, it scuffled backwards, in the direction of Tunnel P.

"DON'T FOLLOW," Alpha growled, "IF YOU KNOW WHAT GOOD."

With a toss of its head and a few wobbling steps, the alien beast tried to slink off with cool efficiency to lick its wounds and pick out the bone spurs embedded between cracked exoskeletal plates. It tripped after a mere few feet, stumbling over its own foot and sending it landing on the already-injured arm and driving bone spurs deeper. Alpha groaned, shook its head, and rolled onto its other arm.

Deli
Deli continued barking their head off until their strength ebbed, quickly. They were left panting, barely conscious, everything around them blurring together. They could barely see through their own, dulling eyes as the hulking beast stepped forward and broke off the spike keeping them suspended in the air.

They hit the ground with a thud, jarring the glass in their stomach, sending them into anotehr desperate frenzy, this time to get that spear out of them. They didn't listen to the creature - how could they even follow, anyways, in the state they were in? After tugging, the spears at last were ripped out, sending blood flowing freely onto the stone beneath them.

A chill settled over Delirious as their shoulder grew hot for a moment. Green crystal began to spread across their body rapidly, encasing them in a chrysalis and sending them into a deep slumber.

The orthoclase growled harshly as it pulled its arm straight in front of itself, blue blood coming in lazy spurts now. With no amount of precision, it started to simply pluck the bone spurs out any way it could: wrenching, tugging, pulling, twisting. Anything to get them out.

That done, Alpha licked away at its wounds, giving only a brief glance back over its shoulder as the dog fell quiet and into a shell. Dead rats didn't do that. But, they weren't a rat, were they?

Running out of reasons to care or show any concern, the hulking child lumbered off into Tunnel P, quite literally walking off the pain in its right forearm.
