The idea of more eyes, more children, more life to serve under Mother infested Pallas's mind, and it had spread to Solis. While Pallas was busy- particularly, he was out getting food for their home hive, the feline was driven to action of his own, access to the life-filled gems in Pallas's old den abused to draw them down to the swamp floor.

A thought of replicating themselves and growing their ranks pushed out to the others, Solis curling his tail around his dainty paws as his back straightened. There was no flourish to these acts. Even if he wasn't aware of the motions, he was pushed through them, blue eyes resting on the gems laid out before him. He was an adult now- and being so, he could provide for Mother in even more ways, now.

There was no romantic love held in mind, nor ideas for the capabilities of certain pairings like other Gembound would hold. No- here, family was put above all else, and he rumbled with purrs at the thought of his list of siblings expanding.

Thread is backdated before YOU'RE NOT MY REAL MOTHER.
Any Hive members looking to make children are welcome.

All gems but the obsidian listed here is available.

Temperantia floated within a tree above Mothers home. It stared out into the open. Its' eyes were open, scanning the forest, but mentally it was not there. Disconnected from it all together, it flipped through the thoughts and ideas within its' link to Mother. Within it, a thought blipped. The idea of replication, growing the number of Mother's children. It was a good thought. Temperantia had trouble identifying the individual consciousnesses within the web of Mother's hive. It took them a while to remember, its memory little more than a thick fog. This one was a cat--smaller than them. New to Mother's embrace, like them. Solis. That was their name.

Temperantia wanted Mother to spread, to give her love to all. Mother was Just. The more there were to protect Mother, to grow her family, the better. Temperantia sent waves of agreement and excitement through its link and confirmed the idea. Family, it thought. Grow.It hoped that more children received the message. Temperantia was fully grown, according to Mother, yet it was still not strong enough to convert other gembound. Many of Mother's were stronger. Yet this way it could help. Temperantia flexed its' wings, and fell to the forest floor, graceful, barely stirring the leaf litter. It focused on the location of Solis, within the internal map Mother's embrace provided, and drifted towards their vague blip of consciousness, T-posing as it went.

There was an answer to the call. Solis blinked languidly to the floating hoop when they made their appearance, not having interacted in person- or, truly, in mind much- with the other being. A strange one, but a loved Sibling nonetheless.

There wasn't much to be said. There wasn't anything that needed to be said. Temperantia had agreed to the idea, and Solis dipped the front of his body in a bow, leaning to the side as he reached in with ancient magic. The result was... Nothing. His mouth went sideways as he struggled deep in, failing over and over, draining his energy.

'I've made a mistake,' was his first thought. His second was to doubt his strength, a creeping feeling swirling around in his chest. 'I need to get stronger. I'm... Sorry for misleading you.'

His head dipped.
