She'd fallen down to her knees, and Alpha hauled forwards.

It reared up slightly at the end of its short-lived charge, making a mild leap and aiming to place its limbs on either side of her and cage her in.

this is the lamest fight writing-wise i've ever done lmao

Effectively caged in and held in between carapace, a whole lot of quills, and rock, Elyon panicked for a second. Bright eyes scanned around, her propped up on her elbows and toxic-green points pricking uncomfortably around herself. She swore she could feel the kaiju breathing down her spine.

"Hey, I'll make a deal with ya, big lug -" she chirruped from underneath, shuffling so that one of her arms could clear Alpha's and move freely. It seemed distracted enough, "first to three pins wins? I'll even give y'this one and count it."

With a sudden grunt, she smacked her hand outwards, the palm aiming to shove at an armored wrist and send Alpha off balance enough for her to get out from underneath.

Alpha huffed at the centaur's back, where it'd been contemplating what, exactly, to do next. "Fine," it growled, agreeing with the belated rules set and -

"rrrrRRRAH!" it yowled as a leg slipped out from underneath it. Point one for it, but its stone-giver had been distracting it! Acidic eyes zeroed in on Elyon as she slipped backwards, rocking onto her legs again, and it launched ahead, jaws split and looking for a forearm.

Teeth found home and blue sputtered down her arm. Elyon twittered, but otherwise didn't tense up that arm. Too much pulling in the wrong direction, and the thing would come clean off. The curse of being built like a crustacean, apparently.

Bright eyes danced around again, and she gave an experimental pull of her arm - other hand rising to brace against Alpha's head shape. She tugged backwards, grimacing at the pain that it brought, but acknowledged the few pacing steps forwards to match.

She pulled again, and again.

Here it was again, having done something and then blindly grappling until something came to mind. Such was the improvised nature of fight, but when either side was defensively untouchable and major injury was off the table, Alpha had to be... less brutish than usual.

Its teeth remained fastened in Elyon's arm, and she made no move to remove them. She had a plan, tugging it towards the wall.

Alpha growled through a mouthful of forearm, glancing down (though it couldn't see anything below Elyon's arm) and swiping claws out, again, for a leg to squeeze and yank into place.

Towards the wall and - a meaty fist curled around her left leg. She stumbled, but leaned back, carrying herself on that extra weight trying to keep steady while she eked her other leg to the side before it could be grabbed, too.

Hoof-claws clinked softly against something, and she stretched further. The piece of metal ground against the floor as she dragged it closer. A beat (and a soft grunt of confusion from Alpha.) Elyon stomped on the edge of it, it flipped through the air - she fumbled to catch it.

"Huh -" echoed from the beast before she swung.

It stumbled sideways, body's momentum following its head before it snapped too harshly to the side. A grunt tore out of its throat and it let go of Elyon's arm. Acidic eyes screwed shut as its head rang inside and out.

Was... was its vision quadrupling?

It was just standing there, shaking its head slightly and trying to stay focused, take on the next challenge -

The bang of metal plate hitting kaiju skull resounded even over Monoceros's howling winds, and that sure sent the beast toddling back and away.

Elyon took a moment to inspect the piece, a quiet thought of 'hm, must've been like aluminum' rising as she took note of the fairly detailed indent made by the side of Alpha's face. It chimed as it hit the ground, clattering until it came to a full stop.

In the time it took the scrap to finish moving, the hybrid'd charged forwards, barreling right for Alpha's flank and aiming to crash into it with all her weight behind a shoulder.

A weight careened into it and it topped over its own six feet. Crashing down on its right side with a startled grunt, Alpha twisted dizzily and flailed an arm out for its approaching stone-giver. She'd come closer, getting ready, it was sure, for the pin.

It made a clear miss the first time, Elyon apparently too far out of reach anyways. The orthoclase paused, waiting for the four vaguely-positioned versions of her in its line of sight to make more of an approach before swinging its other forelimb out.

She'd been coming in to get the pin, or at least as close to it as she could get. Elyon wasn't sure she could stretch her legs far enough to properly straddle Alpha - maybe she'd just plant a hoof-claw atop it and call that good enough for a point.

The alien danced out of the way of the first swinging arm, but didn't seem to check for the second one incoming.

As if she hadn't learned her lesson the first time.

Her hips twisted painfully as her legs swept entirely the wrong away against her torso and rear, and she collapsed with a grunt. Bright eyes widened as her center of gravity continued to tilt forwards and forwards - but she'd gone too hard to give up on what advantage she had now. She shoved forwards on her hind legs, spoiling the last hope she had of staying upright to flop into the kaiju's upper torso.
