Fireheart considered, shaking out his fur. He didn't want to travel entirely to Cetus as magically-exhausted as he was--he didn't expect to be attacked, or the like, but he did want to rest, first. "I believe I can find my own way. Through to Polaris, and then that other tunnel, I think? Do you know where exactly I can find Dragon?" he asked.

He stretched, limbering up his muscles in the wake of all that effort, and then shook himself again, tongue flicking out to lick his jaws. The banana-taste still lingered in his mouth, and he offered a brief thanks to Pride as he took the second, smaller one. It wasn't needed, but it was polite, he figured, to take it nonetheless.

Pride inclined his head.

"Yes, exactly--ahh, you're welcome. As for Dragon, there is a pile of rotting meat--a constantly-refilled offering to their... leader, I suppose?--on the shoreline of the black lake that takes up much of the cave. If you wait there, he will usually come around sooner or later; he adds to the pile, you see. Or call him, perhaps you'll be lucky and he might be close."

He dipped his head, again, and thought, for a moment. "I wish I had some way to give you a clearer picture of it, but the magic I use for illusions is fickle on the best of days. Ahh-... Well, this may not work but it at least lies within my specialty. Hold on a moment," he said, and focused on his own mind, and his magic--and reached out to show Fireheart precisely where to look for Dragon.

Nothing came of it, and he shook his head, a little sadly. "Still nothing. I'm sorry--but I'm sure you'll find him easily enough." He hoped, at least. At least nothing, bar Fireheart's training, was really riding on a success. The swamp was too large--too dark--to find Dragon reliably in an emergency, anyway.

Fireheart snorted his amusement. There was a little more warmth, a little more humor, in his eyes as he turned away, nodding to his wisp. A second wisp bobbed up beside it, and he smirked back at Pride.

"I very much appreciate your guidance, and I'll return as soon as I can. I will rest first, I think--this has been taxing--and then find my way to Cetus; I'll let you know what happens, hm?"

A dip of his head, then, and he loped away, content with the wisps bobbing at his side.

Pride dipped his head. "Good luck, then; and safe travels. I look forward to hearing how it went."

He turned away, looking over at the Throne; he himself was worn, and hungry, and thirsty, too. He turned, deciding to head to Eridanus--to graze, to rest and to drink. But he was lazy, too...

A moment later, Pride was gently floating a foot over the ground, half-relaxing while magic carried him off.

That, at least, seemed to be working.

Behind him, a single wisp bobbed along, lazily, in his wake.
