QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
The young lion focused as hard as he could, but nothing seemed to be happening. Setting down his paw he took a deep breath and let it out. For a moment he allowed his gaze to wander the inside of his little cave. Standing up he wandered around the room for a moment. He was frustrated that it had worked three times in a row, but now it wasn’t going to work? He took another calming breath and let it out. Given the first time had been an accident, so all in all it had only worked twice. But still he was trying shouldn’t things be more in his favor?
After making three laps of the small little cave, Aristotle stopped back at the little tree sprout once more. Sitting down he took another calming breath and let it out. He would try again. He couldn’t just leave this one as it was. He had to make it grow.
Closing his eyes the young lion stretched out a paw and closed his eyes. He focused hard on the little sprout, pushing his energy into it he tried again to make the tree grow.
ROLL 14
Aristotle attempts to Cast Spell — Blossom( Come on one more tree? )
There! A gentle rush past his forepaw. That was exactly what he wanted. The soft scrape of his claws against tree bark. He was beginning to grow familiar with this feeling. A soft tired sigh left the young lion as he set his paw back on the ground. He was nearly exhausted physically and energy drained, but mentally he was still sharp. He would make it home, back to Orion. Many hours had passed since he had first begun his venture in working with his skills here.
A wide yawn parted the young lion’s jaws as he looked across to the center of the room. Perfect, the deer pelt had dried wonderfully. He stood slowly moving to the piece of leather and ran his nose over the surface, it was soft and pliable. Perfect for sleeping on. AT a very slow pace the young lion folded the pelt up and picked it up in his mouth. Inhaling he let out a deep sigh, it was going to be a long walk home.
With his prize in toe, the young lion began his trek through tunnel I and back home to Orion.
