Lass laughed as she watched carja's lil show, cheering. "carja, carja!" she peeped happily. she looked to svartis, cooing. "dad? dad, dad!" she peeped, she knew so many names now!

suddenly, she beeped in alarm as carja tripped and fell, hiding her eyes behind her floppy petals. "carja okay?" she mewed down at her, looking to Svartis instead to ask again. "carja okay?" she mewed, as if he would answer better than carja could, even though she just wanted double the input.

He hoped his being a playground wouldn't last until they were grown.

Hoped.

"Lass is a good name - she does like it, right?" Svartis went cross-eyed for a second, trying (and failing) to see the little one. He couldn't help but chuckle at the blunder underneath him, twisting carefully to peer under himself - without accidentally flinging Lass off - and move his leg from Carja, "it happens."

He rumbled an assurance to her, "Carja's okay, yeah?" She didn't seem injured, aside from her dignity, "you'll get a hang of your wings soon enough, kiddo."

Carja blew a raspberry in disappointment and toddled forward, her big baby blues peering up at Lass before she nodded up at Svartis.

"Lass um..." she said, pausing to think of the word to use, "Very liked it."

Carja clambered up Svartis, clinging to his scales (though by now she'd learned which ones to hold on to, which were the bigger ones that would bear her weight and wouldn't hurt the older dragon) before perching on his shoulder happily, pawing at his neck.

"Let's go- let's go!" she said, giggling as she hopped onto the little space she'd claimed as her 'nest', which was the spike right between Svartis' shoulderblades that she liked to curl around. Though, where she wanted to go was a mystery. Probably just up.

Lass happily held onto svartis horns, cheering as carja climbed into her spot, nodding to svartis. "up! up! take lass up!" she mewed happily, pawing at his head scales.

@Svartis

Once both of the hatchlings were on top of him, the black dragon just... laid down. Like it was a thing to do when babies were running rampant through your scales. Icy eyes blinked once, and he gave an overly dramatic yawn, "I don't know... I'm pretty sleepy..."

He curled up slightly (as best one can, anyways, being twenty-some feet long with extra tail.) A little more seriously, Svartis added, "I don't think it's a very good idea to go flying around here with a baby. I'll watch over you while you're playing, but... no flying - not yet."

But... soon, like a very tantalizing treat held out for Lass. Otherwise, he was going to just cozy up right here. The pitter-pattering of little dragon feet on his scales was... soothing, in a weird way.

Carja giggled and clambered onto the massive dragon's head, cooing at him as she papped his head gently. Asleep. A toothy grin spread across her face and she slowly turned towards Lass, her tail lashing as she slid down the dragon's nose to flop down onto the ground.

"Let's fine some colors!" she said with a giggle, "We'll paint his scales and make him look pretty when he wakes up!"

She nudged Lass gently and offered her back to perch upon, as they would be much faster if Carja could run and not have to slow down for the smaller baby.

(so sorry for short, i never got tagged in the discord sjjsd and didnt realize)

Carja took off at once, looking for chalk or something else that was white since it would stand out the best on Svartis' scales. She drifted down lower so that they didn't get caught in the raging winds, and made her way into the gorge, hoping to find chalk on the ground or embedded in the cave wall.

"Look for white in the rocks," Carja said up to Lass hoping that a second pair of eyes would help.

Though... it looked like she found some already!

Rolling to find chalk or some other white stuff to use to paint Svartis.

Lass nodded, keeping an eye out, looking over the area.

she peeped as she spotted some stuff, some stuff! white and colorful stuff! she squealed and squeaked. "stuff! stuff stuff!" she cried out, pointing.

Carja veered over and landed on a ledge, and proceeded to claw at a hunk of white stuff, a gem-like substance that crumbled under her claws. She picked up as much as she could in her front claws, and then more in her hind claws before taking off again, giggling like mad as she made her way back.

She landed close to Svartis and piled up the chalky substance, and crawled up his face to start painting circles around his eyes and leaving chalky footprints all over. She set Lass on his head and moved on to draw everything and anything that came to mind, including butts, flowers, more butts, a butt with a tower on top, and rabbit faces with ears, going back to collect more dye before coming back.
