What does a mega fauna beast do in his time of solitude? Eat, hide in plain sight. A pair of activities that managed him a reasonable life as a hermit bull, living life in a lull. The crunch of his molars over twig and shrub was a soothing rhythm. Small little flying pests buzzed in his ears and tickled his nose. Nothing a head shake or snort couldn't solve. Sometimes, when too bothersome, a small boost of static solved the problem quite efficiently.

So very many cycles passed him by, in this way. Commotion in the distance only made him walk the other direction, sometimes swimming off into the depths to graze the bottom. His antlers and gem carried the weight of mosses, leaves and mud. Twigs dangled over his face and a faint tinge of green algae stained his persistently-damp coat. To him, this was the life. A change was unnecessary, company unneeded.

There was no verve in the life of this moose. Only the constant calm of the misty Cetus cavern.

It was only so long that an iguana, still too small to brave the depths, could stand lapping the same untidy ponds of Pisces. And although initially an astonishing sight in its sparkling brilliance, the thunderous waterfall had become yet another dull feature of what he supposed must be his new home. He swam, scraped whatever algae he could from rocks at the shallow ends, and would often close his eyes for the boring embrace of sleep. Yes, he could live like this, but a partially full mind craved many more things for it to contain. There were other places to wander, and maybe they would have better places to swim and walls to scale.

So he had set out, a slave to his whims. Wandering had led him to one of many passages, and in turn to here, though perhaps he should have bothered to consider his options further. This new location was a disorienting one; scents, his own included, scattered from their source within the endless white surroundings. Only a ways in, it'd dashed all hopes of relocating the entrance by his lonesome.

Adding further annoyance, cold was no less a nuisance here than in the tunnel. Even here, he could not escape the gradual stiffening of his limbs under its numbing assault.

Still insistent that he possessed some level of control over his temperature, he called once more upon the feeling that seemed to have manifested on his tongue before. And was rewarded, a kind surprise, considering its usual erratic behavior. Mostly, he was glad he truly had not been imagining his accomplishment after all.

Consumed in the resulting satisfaction and very much not able to see far beyond his blunted snout, he was unprepared for a rather sudden and hard collision. At the bruising, his head flew back slightly. As per his usual tendencies, annoyance swiftly followed, at himself and what he had smashed into head-on.

And what certainly was the question. Lacking in experience as well as in size, he had no idea that this was a hoof. For all he knew it could have been a strange rock.

Either way, his anger required some output. Having no immense mastery of words, the dark-scaled creature grumbled unintelligible noises through shut lips. If he had though, some rude opinions might have been shared with this irritating obstacle. Doing this did not completely subside his small moment of rage though, and so ignoring his soreness settling in, he butted his head against the object. His narrow view prevented him from noticing its attachment to a significantly large leg.
