Attikias had found his tail swishing again. There was an energy building, and it felt stuffy to be near Alpha. "Ah," was all that really came at the provided time-line. A cycle was- right, the rough amount of time planted itself in his head, and the elf nodded up to Alpha. "I... See."

He side-stepped when Alpha paced, getting out of its way. That was it then. Just, be used for a child then brought back to his own life, as if he hadn't just gave a piece of himself over to Alpha. Over to- whatever system it had going on here. The elf looked over the other chrysalises, concerned for a moment, before drumming his hands on his hips again.

He let out a soft 'pchoo' of a sigh when he rocked on his feet.

This was awkward.

"Well- I'm... Gonna go," he tested with a shrug, stepping away slowly. When Alpha hadn't made any moves to stop him, he shrugged with his lips thin before exiting the tunnel where the beast'd brought him.

He could get home by himself this time. It gave him time to mull over just how good this decision was.
