Carja listened silently as Asimona spoke about her children, and started to think.

"What happened that made them go away?" she asked softly, "And um... you have this family, right? And if they ever want to come back, they can, right? I don't know if you have to be a dragon to stay here but... hm."

Carja pulled away and stretched out like a cat, yawning widely and showing off her missing teeth, which had started falling out to make way for what were definitely going to be menacing fangs. She stretched out her spine and wings before jumping up into flight and making her way to Asimona's head, landing as gender as she could between the dragons horns. She yawned and rested her head on Asimona's forehead, sniffling gently before closing her eyes and sighing.

"I'm glad you're my grandma. You're great," she said, letting her wings rest haphazardly on Asimona's horns.

Asimona shrugged. "I don't know. Perhaps I was too overprotective. Maybe I pushed too hard for them to stay with me. I don't think they had the same instincts as us - seperate instead of stay together." She sighed. "At least, that's what I got from Wyvern. The others...went their own ways a long time ago." She shifted herself a bit and looked up with her eyes as Carja landed on her head.

She snorted with amusement and then let her head rest on the ground. "Of course, I have all of you now. And if they decide to come back...then of course. They will always have a place next to me." She rumbled, almost like a purr, and the faint sound of music rose from her body, a twinkling, magical sound, that she liked to create when she needed soothing.

"Thank you, Carja," she rumbled. "And I'm glad you're part of my family."

"Well... I'm a dragon. And I want to uh... flock- thunder! We're a thunder. I want to stay," she said, opening her eyes again.

Carja grinned and papped Asimona's horns gently, giggling, "Hey grandma, I could totally be your granddaughter in looks! I'm not black like Svartis, but I'm grey and blue, and you're blue and white... so I could have totally been like... Svartis' kid or something. It's just the eyes- I think I have so many eyes 'cause-"

She went on to babble about her theory about how she had so many eyes because it was the number of limbs she had, before moving on to trying to connect it to the glowing rocks in Polaris where she hatched that fell onto her chrysalis and that's how many eyes she grew, until she suddenly stopped talking, a soft snore coming from her snout instead. She'd talked herself to sleep.

She smiled and rumbled with agreement. "I'm glad you want to stay. I will stay as well, until there's no one else that needs me here." There was a note of sadness in her voice, of the prospect that there may come a day when nobody needed her anymore, but she didn't elaborate. If there was such a day, it was a long ways away, and Asimona could appreciate the time she had now.

She listened to Carja's rambling, doing her best to stay interested in the wild theories she'd picked up, but was more warmed then anything that she was so willing to insert herself as her blood. She'd grown quite fond of the little dragon in the short time they'd been talking and listened until she drifted off to sleep.

Asimona snorted gently, amused by her sudden drop off to sleep. She was lively, and kind, and Asimona was happy and proud to have her in the family. She allowed her own eyes to slide shut until she, as well, began to snore softly.
