Sora watched Morganite, anger rising up in her. It had been the old Morganite who'd done those things. Not... whoever she was now. The hog watched her go, and shook her head. She was sick of being blamed for the mistakes of others, and sick of being blamed for daring to try and be normal. Sora refused to be consumed by her trauma, refused to let it warp her, and adamantly refused to let it make her something she wasn't. If that was naive, so be it -- she wasn't going to let the Masked Merchant or the Trials or any of it take more than they already had.

They'd taken more than she'd initially thought. Her face and family hadn't been enough -- they'd had to take away her happy ending, too. So Sora would make her own. Regardless of what Morganite said, there was a light at the end of the tunnel. She had no idea what Morgan was looking for -- if not normalcy, then what? How could she see a light if she didn't think they could be a proper family again?

Would the others have changed, too?

Sora waited until several minutes had passed since Morganite left. She didn't want to risk crossing paths on her way out of Canis.
