QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
"Oh. I hope they don't try to eat you again?" Bone said, worried. Even more worrying was that Carja somehow considered this creature friendly. Would it even have been sentient..?
Bone had a sort of 'internal frown' moment, and then shook the thought away and changed topic. Here was an answer to both topics: "You know, Svartis and Asimona are all about that sort of magic. The ice, I mean. Maybe you could ask one of them for more sort of, hm, official training-? I know Svartis does very interesting things with his, and Asimona's an older dragon," she added, and didn't it feel weird to not call Asimona 'mom'-? "She might have a few tricks with ice that she could teach you."
And maybe one of them will teach you a little caution with strangers, Bone added in her mind, pensively.
Carja nodded and grinned, "I'm much too big now- and I can push them off. They're like a puppy!"
She friggin' loved Effluvium, probably a bit too much, but hey. A meat monster needs love too, and Carja was more than happy to give!
"I will talk to them!", she said, and looked over at Bone with a blink, "... Hey, do you spar? Or do magic stuff? 'Cause we could maybe um... practice."
She tapped the tips of her claws together as she looked away, a bit embarrassed. She felt... weird around the older dragon (her aunt?), considering this was one of the first time's they'd interacted, saying more than a simple, 'hello' to each other as they flew to their respective caves.
"I'd love to. It's a lot of fun, my magic; I bet yours is, too. From what I've seen of it, it is," she went on. "But I've noticed that if I use too much, I get tired; and I'd like to... sort of 'save' it, for now, at least until we know if this-" and here Bone nodded out at the snowstorm--"is something I'll need magic for."
She considered, a moment, eyeing Carja. "Once this is all done-? I promise," she added; "and for now I think I will fly the edges, and make sure I don't find anyone in danger."
Carja nodded and stood up, shaking herself off, "That's a good idea! I'm going to stay here too, but I'll be nearer to the entrance, maybe to see people off? Right now all this stuff is like an attraction! It's awesome!"
She flapped her wings out and stretched her hind legs behind her awkwardly before stretching her arms up above her head with a yawn. Once that was done she took flight, hovering above Bone.
"I'm gonna go! Goodbye Bone!", she said, "See you later!"
She swooped down to press a dragon kiss against the other's cheek before shooting off with a roar, seeming to stumble in the air a moment before regaining her composure and taking off into the storm, her gray and cyan hide a contrast against the powder, though she seemed to match the general cold aura very well.

MAGICKA LEVEL 81% RESTORED TO 100%
Bone nodded her agreement, but she barely had time to think about the meaning of it being an 'attraction' (the dragon hadn't ever really seen any gatherings, before, aside from group hunting) when Carja hopped forward. The younger dragon's high energy was on full display, as was her open affection, and Bone was left laughing warmly at the brief smooch before the kid had flown away.
"Goodbye, then," she said amusedly at the departing figure of Carja--likely too far to hear her now, anyway--and then turned to regard the snow, again.
It was cold, and she was cold, but Carja was more at home in that than her; she'd just have to keep an eye out, to wait and see if there was something she could do.
She was still cold, though, and twisted her head back around as best she could: this time not to breathe fire, but just a blast of hot air. Bone was armored, though--not particularly flexible--and the breath caught only a wing and her forelegs; it wasn't even strong enough to reach her tail (and she winced as it singed her burnt mouth). That was better than nothing, though, and the dragon settled back to wait.
