Comet let the bird think on it by themselves, she found that it was easier for animals to convince themselves when they were not interrupted. And sure enough, it worked. But now... now she would have to tell them that she had found a second stone. "And um, I actually found a second stone so they can have as sibling? And also--" In case the spell didn't work. But she would say that. "also so you can have twice the companions!" She motioned to the original stone she had brought on the ground, it was like a chunk of ice, out of place in the greenery of Eridanus.

Rainstorm didn't know what the stones looked like that Comet brought to them. They wouldn't even know what their children would look like. That... was sad. Rainstorm mused. They would never get to see their children that they were trying to bring to life. That... almost made them change their mind. But Comet was right - they kind of did need companionship anyway. Being in the forest alone all the time.

"What do the stones look like, that you brought me?" They asked.

Rainstorm knew the stones were sitting right in front of them, but they had no way of knowing what they even looked like. What kind of stones would their children have? If the magic even worked to bring them to life. That also was a scary thought. What if it didn't work? Rainstorm didn't want to think of it. They wondered if the gems shone like jewels or not. Maybe they did.

"This one looks like a chunk of blue ice. Sort of like my own stone." But then she remembered that the bird had not seen her stone either, so that last part wasn't exactly helpful. Comet put her paw on the stone in front of her, and then she picked up the other stone that looked more like a jewel. "This one is an emerald. It looks just like a leaf but it shines."

The pup hid her own worries that it would not work. "Why don't you try reviving this one first?" Comet nudged the one that looked like ice.

Rainstorm didn't know what Comet's stone looked like. They had no idea how to tell what it was in their head, really. Not much could be revealed by what the canine told them, but they were sure they would find out eventually. Even if it meant asking someone else. Or finding out if there was any magic they could somehow attain that would show them what the stones looked like. Maybe there was magic out there that could give them their sight back... Something like that, Rainstorm had not thought about.

The other one was shiny, Comet had said. And an emerald... So green, like the place around them. How fitting that color was. Comet pushed forward the first one, saying it looked like ice. Rainstorm knew what ice looked like - so it was almost a blue white color? Huh. Rainstorm wondered how that looked on Comet - what the wolf's stone looked like. But for now, they tried to push their own magic into the stone that was forwarded to them.

Comet held her breath as she watched the bird cast the spell that would imbue the stone with life. For a moment, nothing happened. Had it not worked? But then the stone turned into a chrysalis, and she gasped. "It worked! It really worked!" She placed her paw on the chrysalis, and could feel it thrum with life. "Feel it, it's amazing!"

But now, it was time to give this baby a sibling. "Let's try this one now." She pushed over the emerald, at some distance from the first chrysalis so as to not cause any problems when the spell was cast. If it worked.

Rainstorm knew their spell worked, it was easy to feel the magic leave their body and transfer over to the gemstone. Nothing happened at first, but slowly the thing began to grow into a chrysalis that would hold a child, and would hatch with time. Rainstorm still was entirely confused why they were doing this but... they were and there was no going back now, so.

Well it was time to use the second spell. The same one as before. Hopefully it worked, too.

"Yes!" her fears dissolved, as she watched the emerald stone become a chrysalis. The bird had managed to pull off reviving two stones! The blue and green chrysalises thrummed with life, and Comet couldn't wait to see what it would be like once they hatched.

"I don't think you need to worry about them until they hatch, I heard they are indestructible." But even so, at home with her own sibling, she always made sure to take care of the chrysalis. It was better not to take any risks. "If you have any trouble or need help, I recently joined a group called The Seven. You can call them if something happens." she offered.

Rainstorm wasn't so sure about the chrysalis being indestructable, but they would keep that in mind. It would be best to watch them anyway, to make sure no beings tried to mess with them, or break them. Rainstorm wasn't going to harm either of the chrysalis anyway.

The mention of the seven Rainstorm kept in their head. They would go check that out soon enough.

"I suppose you may want something in return?" they questioned.

"Something in return?" Where had she heard this before? Oh yeah, Kaimana had asked her the same thing when she had given her Permafrost for free. It seemed that some animals were not used to people doing things simply because they wanted to help. They could not comprehend the concept of doing things without expecting anything in return. "I do not need anything in return. I just want to help."

Now that she had told Rainstorm about The Seven, Comet felt satisfied that the bird would manage very well on their own to take care of their two new kids. She would come back to check of course. "Well, I'll go now. If you need help just ask!"

Of course rainstorm expected the need to give something in return - that was how things worked right? Everything was a give and take, nothing that was given wouldn't give you back in return. Though maybe that wasn't the case here - Comet was just being nice. But why was she being so nice? It didn't matter anyway. they didn't have the chance to ask again before they heard the wolf rush off.

How anticlimactic, but they supposed that was okay. Rainstorm turned to feel at one of the chrysalis, comet was right. You really could feel the life inside, even when it was so new.
