Morganite's thinking had been... wishful, at best. She had been clever to visit in the very early morning, when Sora would take so long to return to her den -- but she had been foolish to not attempt to cover her scent. She'd never really thought she'd be considering sororicide, but here she was -- her gait was even, but every muscle in her body was taught. To any familiar with Sora, this would have been as unfamiliar as looking into a mirror and seeing that your hair was suddenly green -- never had she walked with such purpose, such tension.

This was the walk of someone who had been thinking since she'd discovered the disturbance in her lair, and this was the walk of someone who had managed to calm herself down by just enough to not be so much furious as she was calculated. She had been given time to think, as she trailed Morganite's scent back to Canis, her blood shifting from a rolling boil to a bare simmer and her heart rate eventually steadying.

Sora was not at risk of hurting someone else. But Caves forbid if Morganite came into her line of sight, because there would be hell to pay.

Pumpkin had been more or less just resting.

constant flights back and forth over the course of a cycle, watching over both of his children, and checking in on charles.

its been... a day, he thinks, since morgan brought simon's stone for the 2 of them to watch over. it was a weird day, but he'd kinda been waiting for something to happen.

he flew over the expanse of canis, stopping with a loud twitter when he saw a familiar figure. "sora?!" he called out, swooping down. "hey! hey, sora!" he chirped in greeting with a half-smile. he was incredibly worried but oh well. might as well greet her.

If Avi was smart, he probably shouldn't have come here. Unfortunately, he wasn't.

The little alien prince was flying circles through the air, swooping between stacalites and perching on ledges. The cave lights were at full glow with the heat (or lack thereof) of day, and he took a moment to just relish in it's light. Most of the caves were cool and damp, but at least the bulbs gave off some semblance of heat. Perfect for practicing his flight-- or simply resting on the rooftop, as he was now.

A clatter of pebbles. Four green eyes peered down at the sudden disturbance. A pig! Well, a pig-thing. She had funny white fur and long ears that stood out well against the mosaic of bones and stone. He'd never seen her before (or perhaps he did, out in the corners of the fortresses?) but was intrigued anyways. Why was she moving so funny? And then there was a small bird, too, who chittered in high tones as they approached the peccary. Was this some fancy gathering? He liked fancy gatherings!

Of course, it'd be rude to just barge into their meeting, but curiosity still gripped him. Quietly, long scythes pushed off from the rock face as he flared his wings open like a (quite clumsy) butterfly. Unfortunately, he proved to be quite noisy, and he internally cringed in fear they would notice his snooping.
