Haven was gathering up crystals in her arms like some kind of gremlin, wanting them only because they sounded nice. She waddled back towards the mural and blinked, before dropping her armful and snatching Electrum up, dragging him towards it.

"Tell me what's happening!", she said, excited.

She could hear everyone get excited, her wings flapping gleefully as she bobbed her head up and down, dancing in delight.

Comet could sense the magic coming mostly from the mural, but some came from... somewhere else too. But she decided to focus on the mural for now, and watched as the pieces all came together. The completed mural told a story, and the pup drew the conclusion that they had to visit whoever this figure was... below? "Let's go, let's go!" she exclaimed, tugging at James. She made sure Kaimana and Leviathan noticed too, before heading off to find the person.

"Exit"

Electrum had honestly... not been too interested in looking for the pieces, after a time. The shines, though, that Haven had brought near him when they sat by the statue, and he barely acknowledged any nearby Gembound with a flick of his ear flick, or a glance if they seemed impressed with him. Tapping one of the stones that his mate held with the sharp tip of a claw, he listens closely to see what the notes sound like. "These could be an amazing addition, definitely."

As the others fix the mural, he turns his attention back to it, scoffing in irritation and derision at the very thought that someone would deliberately slay a dragon and win, let alone want to in the first place.

Giving the statue one last glance up and down, he bunts Haven with his head and speaks quietly, "They fixed the mural, it seems to be about a... metal shaper? Who gave someone a gift that they then used to kill them. Then it looks like a cycle is being told, like the person being killed going to a chrysalis like we hatch from, so it's implied this goes on for a good while. Then, it looks like..." A snort and a tilt of his head, and he squints at the distant magical mosaic, pupils going round, slice thin, then round again before he snorts and continues, "It looks like the last part there is showing something like fire or heat, and then almost Spire-like in the background. Also," he chuckles, and he doesn't hide how his glee and Haven's contagious enthusiasm make him flush gold, "It looks like the figure who was killed before is moving, up and down a set of steps towards wherever that picture is... Should we go look?"

He turns towards wherever the stairs seem to be, and nudges Haven again, "Lets go look, come on! Who knows what good things we can find down there."

The strangers were more interested in the images on the wall than they were in him, which was fine, but led to a boring few minutes of investigation. They were talking about the images as he turned to leave, heading deeper in to the quadrant - his curiosity hardly piqued by the puzzle they had pieced together. Perhaps he could find something interesting elsewhere.

Exit.

Tahi-shei's eyes lit up as the mural flared to life. "Oh, look, James! We've discovered something new!" He almost said 'come with me,' and then glanced over at Levi and Kaimana and Comet. He trailed after the wolf, who was shoving James along to the next place, and did not say anything else -- and he wasn't exactly sure why, edging more towards the back of the group for reasons he had absolutely no interest in thinking about as the rest of the group moved along.

Levi sighed, a beleaguered and somewhat irritated sound, before shuffling off with Comet and James and Kaimana (and now a new one? yuck) anyway. It wasn't as though he remembered the way home on his own -- although he would have quite liked to throw himself into the waters of Leo and start looking for fish.

James lurched awkwardly at his daughter's tugging, his poor wing stretched forward. He trotted after her, laughing.

"Slow down-! You'll take my wing with you and leave me behind!"

He looked back to Tahi and stretched out his other wing to wave him over, "Come on!"

The stallion made his way after Comet, laughing gently at her antics.

Exit James.

Aran couldn't really see what happend after the other gembounds put the slots into place, what he did know, however, is that they were all going somewhere else. He wasn't going to get left behind, and listened for their voices. A few he recognized, and of those few they seemed to be heading to the next area - if there was one of those. The prospect of finding new information did make the deer think something else was found, and that they all would be headed to where that information lead.

It made some sense, so he did, trail behind the other gembounds, that is.

And before she knew it, something else new had happened. Comet flagged her attention, so once the headache of backfired magic subsided, the jaguar would follow after. A last look over her shoulder at the statue, however. So strange, it was. She wished she could have investigated it more, but for now it was far more important to keep her eye on the ball -- and her kids.

Well. Okay, he's not completely gone yet, and he stops for a split second to stretch a foot out and grab another gem- one of the warmer colored ones, possibly?

Who knows when we can come back, is his logic, and so he attempts one last time to add to the supplies he and Haven are gathering, before fully disappearing into the tunnel.

"Sorry, Haven, had to snag something!" he calls out, his voice echoing as he slithers away, whatever he grabbed clutched in his hind foot securely.
