Attikias wasn't one to have idle hands. With Thalia around, at least he had someone to make things for, and with Vivilene back? That was the cherry on top. Still, sometimes, he just needed to indulge in himself a little and busy himself with a little project.
Right now? It was fixing the roof on the family hut. They really needed to get a better one eventually- it seemed like it sprung a leak twice a cycle anymore. Huffing out carefully, Attikias lifted the vine-turned-rope and tightly bound the leaves making up the roof back into a more sensible form. There. That would hold.
Stepping back, Attikias worriedly flicked his tail to and fro as he waited to see what would happen. It was slowly sinking, but maybe it'd settle? He winced as it kept going. Maybe not. In a flurry of leaves and twigs, the roof fell in on its own weight, and the elf sighed with his hands on his hips.
Good thing his daughters weren't here to have roofs fall in on them. He grumbled to himself as he stepped back up to his handiwork and got back to work repairing it, tail angrily swishing from side to side. What a chore.

Serendipity was panicking.
She didn't know Attikias particularly well but she did know where his camp was-- and more importantly, she knew that he was something of a family man. With her own limited experience in families and Azure's horror stories of family, Attikias seemed like the person to interrogate about her current predicament.
There was a distant thump. At least the man was home.
Serendipity came loping up behind Attikias with her coat billowing out behind her, coming to a stop on the outskirts of the encampment, staring up. One hand held her kettle and teabags-- the other went burying into her jacket pocket.
"What are you doing?" Dip asked with a clear of her throat, trying to wash away the panic that had bitten at her heels the entire walk over. To distract herself, she started piling dry wood onto the firepit.
A pause. "Uh, morning," she added (out of politeness). Some kindling was added and, taking a breath, Dip leaned over. With a slight retch, super-heated bile spat out of her mouth and onto the pit; catching the kindling on fire and then the drier logs.
Unceremoniously, Dip wiped her mouth and put the kettle down. "You want tea? ... You got water?"

Seeing Serendipity wasn't something Attikias had expected today. With one arm across the roof and his other hand tight around the base of some fronds, he was in the midst of his work when approached.
His head turned, paired with a few blinks, as he realized Dip had come for a visit. "Ah-" He began, looking to the roof. "Fixing the roof." He nodded his head to the offending item. When he released his hands, the whole thing fell back apart, earning a sigh from the elf.
Nevermind. Letting it settle for now, Attikias turned fully to Dip, to watch her- set up a fire? "Morning," he spoke, taken aback briefly. "What are you-"
One side of his lip curled up at Dip vomiting onto his wood. Okay, then? Fire. Attikias's hands folded together as he stepped around her, eyeing the kettle. "I have water, yeah?" He watched for a second more before turning to the side, to his cleanest urn acting as a water pitcher. He grabbed it gently, cradling it, before returning to the firepit and placing it beside Dip. Eventually, he joined her with a squat.
"Are you okay?" Dip didn't seem to be one who would come on a whim. His tail brushed the ground as it swayed, his mismatched eyes warm with concern as he watched his fellow humanoid.
