Abraxas hummed to herself in thought as Renny said the head could have been lost. Tilting her head to one side she thought about that. Anything that took something that big, had to have been even bigger than the snake itself. That or there was A LOT of them to move it, because something that big had to weigh a lot too didn’t it? Did they take it right after the snake had died, or did they come along and take it later on? Had they killed the snake for its head? Why would someone else kill them just for their head? Perhaps the head was somewhere still in the caves. ”Do you think someone killed the snake?” Abraxas mused aloud.

Abraxas settled down in her bag as they made the flight back home, Her bright golden eyes watched everything asw it went past. She was trying to memorize the way to the trench from above, but that would prove difficult to translate to the land. At least she hoped it wouldn’t be too much of a problem, as she would very much like to return to investigate more on her own. She knew that it had been a long journey for Renny as Mary had been gone sometime before she returned home with Mayfal the first time, so she knew Renny must have been tired.

Abraxas squeaked as they dipped into the trees. She hadn’t expected it so it was a bit of a surprise for her. Another squeak left the griffin-like creature as Fruits were dropped into the bag forcing her to scoot around so she was now sitting on top of them rather than be squished against the side of the bag. But once she had resituated she found herself to be rather comfortable.

As Renny lay down on the floor, Abraxas squirmed all the way out of the bag and flipped head over butt landing on her butt on the floor. She looked back up at Renny over her shoulder and giggled. Standing up she turned around and sat down looking up at Renny, a soft purr rumbling in her chest as he nuzzled her. The little griffin-like creature gently returning the sign of affection with a nuzzle of her own. ”Me too. Today was a lot of fun. I can’t wait to do it again!” The girl agreed about the day. Standing up on her hind legs she reached into the bag and pulled out a mango before backing up and sitting down to eat. ”Next time, can we go see a different cave? I want to see more of our world.” The girl asked as she admitted she was actually curious about the world beyond Eridanus.

James huffed, "Perhaps. Magic can do great things, terrible things. Even kill creatures as large as that."

He yawned and stretched, sighing softly as he took a bite out of an apple, exhausted.

"Of course," he said, "We can go to Orion, Canis, Polaris... Monoceros too, I think. I'm not sure if that's where my dragon friend still lives, but maybe."

He stood up and shook himself off, eating a few more fruit before flopping down in bed with a sigh, looking back at himself and grumbling. Cirrus was right... he was fat. Or getting there. Maybe some more flying and running was due.

"Once you're done eating, you can keep painting or take a nap with me," he said, yawning again as he set his head down, wings tucked up like a blanket on top of him. His eyes closed and he slowly drifted off. He'd had a very long month.

Abraxas thrummed her claws on the edge of the bag in thought. She had yet to discover her magic, she knew she most likely had it as her siblings had it. But she just hadn’t tried yet, she had other things she wanted to do right now. But his mention of magic being able to do terrible things she rested her beak on the edge of the bag. What kind of magics could possibly kill such a large creature? How powerful must they have been to take down such a large creature. Or perhaps they had caught the creature while it was sick or injured, and taken it down when it was at its weakest.

Abraxas munched on the mango with her eyes watching Renny. SHe could see in his demeanor that he was tired. He had taken such a long journey to get here, and then he had taken her on yet another little adventure. There was no way that he wouldn’t be absolutely exhausted.Taking another large bite of the mango Abraxas swallowed and scooted closer to Renny.

Abraxas purred listening to Renny talk about the other caves they could visit. She wondered what they were like. Each name sounded so wonderful and new, she couldn’t wait to see each one in turn eventually. She wanted to travel; she just knew she wasn’t big enough or strong enough yet to defend herself. Though if she had her magic, maybe that would be a different story, but knowing the way things were going with the magic in her family. She would only have plant magic which would prove rather useless in self defense.

Abraxas watched Renny stand up and move to the bed, as he did so she finished her mango and licked her paw clean. Then she stood and followed Renny over to the bed. He had said she could keep painting or sleep, a small yawn parted her beak as she moved over to cuddle against Renny’s side. ”I think I’ll snooze with you.” The little girl admitted as she curled up against Renny’s side purring softly. With a soft sigh the little girl closed her eyes and fell asleep beside Renny.
