MAGICKA LEVEL 100%
RESTORED TO 100%

The Overseer returned Vargas's nod, acknowledging his sideways advice with a huff. There's a use right there: magic trainer. Why outsource your training, when you can just have it all here? It was just a matter of... getting anything out of this one.

Call Alpha a hypocrite when it comes to being annoyed about minimal responses, but it was internally bemoaning the lack of any real description in Esther's responses. Fire was self-descriptive, at least, but... pressure differences? Only one of those words was an ordinary one.

It squinted, shifted its weight, and kicked a pebble towards the maned wolf. "Show me, using that." Good target, right? A nice, inanimate object.

Esther supposed showing was better than telling - though the Maned wolf wasn't entirely good in combat so they hoped they wouldn't have to fight anyone. Let alone the larger creature that was speaking at them. Esther didn't know how to explain their magic besides "well its dangerous" so talking about it was just pointless. The fire was easy, but the other stuff? Not so much. Fire was self-explanatory. It burned things and burning hurt.

The pebble was kicked in front of the gembound, and Esther looked at it before looking at Oro and back again. Well, that worked too.

Thankfully the winged animal was actually able to get the spell to work, and just like that, the pebble was crushed under the grasp of the magic. If it failed the maned wolf had no idea how they were supposed to fix it so this worked perfectly fine.

Speaking at was a pretty good way to describe this situation.

The orthoclase watched with feigned interest as Esther looked down at the offered pebble, then back at it. It half-expected nothing to happen, and that was about what happened. To be fair to the mutated beast, though, all Alpha had offered was an itty-bitty target. They couldn't have done anything impressive if they'd tried.

Unlike the Overseer before it, it was not one to have things casting magic on it willy-nilly, so it didn't offer itself up for further practice. Instead, it glanced around with a rumbling hum. Its eyes fixed on a larger rock, and it paced toward it to indicate with one arm. "Try it on this."

Earth magic, perhaps… ? It didn't seem too difficult to describe.

Interested in fading this out to generic magic practice?
