A sound rather like rain and a rattle started up quietly in Tunnel F, giving it a rather eerie ambiance. The trees rustled softly, and then their branches warped and twisted just slightly to reveal Walks Like Rain, silent as they twisted back up behind her. She was wearing her coat and her bone bracelets, as usual, but this time she wore the skull as well. There were handprints on the backs of her wrists, the same symbols that the Queen had painted on her, though the blood was fresher this time -- red and shiny. She tilted her head slightly to the side and approached -- the sound was coming from her.
"'Will you walk into my parlor?' said a spider to a fly," she said, her voice soft as she peered at Forgraves through the holes where the eyes had been.
"'It's the prettiest little parlor that you ever did spy...'" Rain pushed the mask up. It was still a bit small for them, all things considered.
"'The way into my parlor is up a winding stair, and I have many pretty things to show when you are there.'" They laughed softly into the mask and drew their arms up like a mantis preparing to strike, although they lacked the joint that would allow them to do something like that.
"May I have your name?" mused the faerie, wondering if he'd fall for the trap. They'd given him plenty of warning.
