Bug warning!

The Queen scuttled along the tunnel, fully grown and eleven feet tall, a beautiful, terrifying creature. She halted in front of her den, mask over her face, her arms at her side. With a hiss she turned, agitated, her wings buzzing on her back.

"SMALLWING!!", she cried, shrill and loud.

How could she have forgotten? She needed to keep tabs on the various other groups of these caves, she'd told herself as such at the meeting with Tahi-shei... speaking of, she needed to send a message to him. Urgently.

Her plague bombs were very nearly ready.

"A honey comb should do," she hissed to herself, "Air-tight and won't break except by force, which a through should theoretically provide..."

She tapped claw-tipped chitin fingers together, pacing back and forth, "Then, when the bacteria is released, it'll burst forth upon Mother's soldiers and cause aneurysms and internal hemorrhaging. Perfect!!"

Her counter plague that she'd infect those on their side would render the bacterium completely useless. It was the perfect plan!!

Marshmallow was jolted awake from the sound of Arwen calling for her. She crawled as fast as she could at top speeds (which wasn't very fast) out of the den. A recent discovery that she could fly had gotten her practicing how to, and she must've been so tired she had fallen asleep when she should have been guarding the den! A self assigned job of course. Marshmallow let out a clicking noise to alert Arwen that she had arrived for duty.

The Queen scuttled forward and scooped Marshmallow up, crawling into her den and laying down on top of some furs.

"Hello dearie," she cooed softly, removing her mask and clacking sharp mandibles together, "I have a little task for you. Well, two. Your first is to deliver a message to Tahi-shei, he should be in Pegasus. He's a deer with brown fur, antlers, and a crown atop his head."

Arwen blinked slowly and smiled, her face contorting into a terrifying grin, "Tell him that my plague is ready. I only need to test it and then it'll be ready to unleash upon the world."

She giggled to herself and sighed, "Once that is done I need you to fly to Canis, Draco, Cetus, and Orion. You, my small friend, will be my spy. You'll spy on the groups that inhabit those caves and report back to me."

Marshmallow listened intently to the tasks she was given. Anything for Arwen! She would try her best! Plague ready, only test needed, Tahi, brown deer, antlers, crown. Repeat. Plague ready, only test needed, Tahi, brown deer, antlers, crown. Memorized, not the next part. She went over the things in her head over and over again until they were imprinted into her mind. Once she finished, she immediately started flapping her wings, eager to start her mission. "Good! Good! Go!"

Arwen smiled and stroked Marshmallow's fur gently before putting her mask back on and walking outside, "Go, my pet. May your wings be swift and the winds carry you far."

She lifted up her hand and threw Marshmallow into the air to fly off to Pegasus, clasping her hands together.

Everything was going perfectly. When the Fungal Prince received her message, she would find him and demonstrate what she'd learned.

She turned and slunk back into her den, intent on working on her next project.

Exit Arwen

Marshmallow squeaked in excitement, and flew off towards her first destination, eager to prove herself to Arwen and carry out her orders. She could do this!

Her wings beating as fast as they could although still a bit wobbly, she was soon out of sight.
