Chaos-Two guided the salamander-like spawn to Pegasus using gentle nudges and cooed words, their staff left behind for now. They weren't going to use it, for they didn't intend for any sort of combat training today, and if there was, they ought to practice hand to hand too.
"Come, Chaos-Five," they said, leading the way to the river, "I have some... fun planned. It's training but hopefully more interesting."
They liked to talk even if their charge didn't understand. The only way to learn was by constant teaching and example, and they weren't going to get anywhere by baby-talking or slow-talking to the spawn. That would just make it end up sounding stupid.
Chaos-Two made their way through the tall grass, the fronds reaching their waist as they stood upright, making a path behind them for Chaos-Four to fit into.

Every nudge gets a hiss, or a half-hearted nip, but they are very obviously humoring the older creation- either thru some sort of curiosity, or boredom, or some sort of strange sense of camaraderie- who knows.
New places, new air- new light that kind if hurts, feels too warm. Too much new, but also not enough, and they follow along behind Chaos-Two in their path, having only tried to pass them once, and deciding that... Grass is unpleasant, and it will burn. How dare something so thin and small be so... textured. What is it with things here being small and annoying.
"What is the point of fun?" It's not spoken snidely, or with any malic or dismissal- they just. Don't know what or why. Simple enough, really. "Training is already interesting."
Deciding to flick some magic at the front that had just flicked their snout, it's oddly... crisp? They realize the magic had been attracted to the dewdrops on the grass, and they sigh with disappointment as they keep moving. Nothing. Sad.

"If you push yourself too far then you will break," Chaos-Two said sagely, "And when that happens then you'll only set yourself back more. No, we'll have fun, take a day to rest so that you don't injure yourself, and I'll take you swimming. It's like training but without Master Vargas hovering over you."
They found a secluded, shaded pond in the middle of a crop of trees. Humming softly, they walked towards it and sat down, gesturing to it.
"Go ahead," they said, "I want you to catch some fish for me in this pond. Bring me back... hm, four."
They held up the number on their fingers, wiggling them to demonstrate.

They don't find the observation... bad. In fact, they prefer the instant critique from the Master, the experience at their wingtips when under his tutelage ... But. Yes, the lack of consistent acknowledgement of their progress can be a bit discouraging, what with all the pointers at it's failures.
"I will not break, I cannot." is their only initial verbal response, then, and they stride past Chaos-Two, wondering, not for the first time, what that one's purpose was. They gaze at the trees, the shadows they cast, and make their way into some shadows that cast themselves over the water- for for their skin's sake, the constant itching fading a good deal as the light does.
Four, alright. As many as digits as I was shown.
Deciding to be a bit... creative, they pull on their more writhing, chaotic magic, and flick it once again out at the thing before them- but now it's the pond itself, instead of a frond of grass.
Nothing happens, once again... and they snarl, frustrated. Master Vargas is right about the useless qualities of magic...
So, they strike out at the water in their frustration, baring it's teeth and only half hoping to spook some fish into movement.

Chaos-Two watched, expecting Chaos-Four to dive in like they were meant to, but instead they cast magic. An odd choice, considering how Vargas had tried to teach those being gifted to Lord Dhracia physical abilities. Hm.
"Go on and catch some," they said, "Swim like you are meant to, Chaos-Four. I will be waiting."
They sat down beside the pond, watching the creation expectantly. Would they know how to catch a fish by instinct or would instruction be needed? There were things they, as babysitter and initial teacher, needed to know before jumping into a lesson. Sure they were less... strict, but they would drill lessons into Chaos-Four's head if it was the last thing they did.
"When you return, we shall eat what you've caught," they added, hoping a reward might spur Chaos-Four's ambition.

Chaos-Two continues to train Chaos-Four, leading them out to the water and ordering them to catch fish. Then they order them to catch increasingly harder prey, aiming to teach them better hunting skills and coordination.
They aren't the best teacher, but they'll do for this, at least. This was their purpose as babysitter.
