Tigerlily's chrysalis was rather large in the small tunnel, taking up too much space for its own good. It hadn't been there for a long time - just enough for the four foot tall child to develop before it cracked with a noise. The light from the adjacent cave might have made it look like the chrysalis was glowing, but the illusion was broken when the gembound rolled out of it with a crash!!!

The green kitten landed facefirst into the dirt with a high pitched yowl. That hurt!! Why did she fall all of a sudden? Shards of green embedded into the dirt around, and Tigerlily picked one up with unsteady fingers. Huh. That's kinda pretty. Setting it back down, her tail flicked behind her.

"Aye?" A pause, and a flickering of ears. "Anyone?"

The kid didn't move from her spot on the floor except for switching into a cross-legged position. Way better than laying on the dirty ground.

Morganoth had made their way through the tunnels and caves between here and Leo with purpose, seeking to explore as much as they could before they grew large. Of course they'd grow large, they were Morganoth! The Great, the Strong, the Mighty! They'd figure out a good title later, but some day they would reign over these caves!

Someday.

The crash and the voice alerted them that they were not alone, their brisk pace pausing before they moved into a gallop, heads all raising to peer forward.

"Hello? Hello!", they spoke, another head moving up to shout much more enthusiastically. They did that sometimes, like intrusive thoughts.

A voice had the green kitten's head turning where it came from. Round ears twitched and Tigerlily's green eyes widened at the sight of someone with multiple heads. They look cool. Was the first thing that popped into the child's head. She blinked and her tail flicked to the side.

"You look cool!" The kid voiced now, hands flailing every-which-way.

Tigerlily had never seen someone like that before! Of course, they'd never seen anyone before.

@Morganoth

Morganoth stared for a bit, ears perked up and their heads still for a moment. They quickly snapped out of it and waddled forward, tails wagging.

"I am cool!", they said happily, "You are green! I like green, green's a nice color."

He really liked the color green. It was cool and bright while not being overbearing. A nice color!

@Tigerlily

If Tigerlily wasn't smiling before, she was positively beaming now. She preened under the attention - of course green was a good color! It was her color! She expected nothing but the best of herself! Tigerlily gazed at each of the heads - so many! Did they hatch like that?

"Can all of you talk? Or is it just you?" Tigerlily pointed at the head that spoke the most. "What's your name? Do you have more than one? I'm Tigerlily! Or you can call me Clover!"

An excited little kitten she was, forgetting to take her time to speak. The words came out a jumbled excited mess.

"I can talk with all of them," they said, each head speaking in a chorus before the main one spoke alone again, "I am Morganoth, I have only one consciousness. It is nice to meet you, Tigerlily."

Morgan faltered for a moment, struggling to find words to say, but pushed through anyway, "So... are you hungry? I'm hungry."

They looked around, trying to find a rat or something to catch for the two of them. Tigerlily seemed like a carnivore, at least judging by the teeth they glimpsed when she spoke.

"Help me find some food," they said, waddling down the tunnel.

Tigerlily blinks once, twice, three times before she realizes she has to reply to continue the conversation.

"Nice to meet you Mor-gan-oth!" Their name was sounded out on her tongue, as if she was testing it.

The silence lasted a minute, Tigerlily also not really knowing what to say next - but oh! She had so many questions! Could Morganoth see out of all of those eyes? At the same time? What happens if they closed all of them? How did they eat? Could all of them eat? It looked like she'd be getting an answer to at least one of those questions, with the mention of food.

"Okay!" With a nod.

Tigerlily pushes her arms in front of her to lift up - she wobbles, nearly falls over once, and stands on two legs. She's gonna need time to get used to that one. Opening her mouth, Tigerlily lets the scents come to the glands that allow that mix of scent-taste, searching for something to munch on. When something hits her nose, Tigerlily's tail twitches. Oh, where is it?

"This way." she hums, quieter this time, instinct taking over.

Through the tunnel some more, and the food should be somewhere around here... Somewhere. Tigerlily isn't sure how to use that scent tracking all the way yet.

"Should be here... Somewhere."

Morganoth tentatively followed Tigerlily, ears perked forward. They drew ahead and searched for the prey Tigerlily had scented, heads lowering and jaws opening, ready to shoot forward and snap down.

The poor rodent that had decided to peek out of its den at that moment met fourteen sets of horrifying jaws. Two shot forward and grabbed it, tearing it in half, one half flying and falling in front of Tigerlily as the others fought to be the one to eat it, hissing and spitting in a ferocious frenzy.

The rat was demolished in a few seconds, the heads licking up blood before the small eldritch being turned to Tigerlily, blinking innocently.

"Caught it," they said.

Tigerlily watched as the dragon stalked forward. It didn't take long for the dragon to find the rat - with all of those heads. The green feline watched as each head surged forward in a gruesome sight - blood spraying like rain, coating everything in sight. She grimaced just looking at it. Well, that answered the eating question.

"Do you want this one?" She questioned, picking up the, admittedly gross other half of the rat to offer it to Morganoth.

"No, that's for you," Morgan said, nudging it towards Tigerlily, "I can get more."

They watched Tigerlily expectantly, all seven heads staring blankly at the cat as they waited for her to eat. It was a little unnerving as their eyes glinted like a cat's in the dim light of the tunnel.

"... You eat meat, right?", they asked, tilting their main head, "Your teeth are sharp like mine, so I assumed as such."
