Whew.

This was pretty far from home.

Nearly across the caves, in fact. Assistant's paws were sore by the time they completed the couple-hour trek to Pegasus. But it would be very worth it because of one specific fact.

People actually lived here!

And I mean, who wouldn't want to live here? A paradise of rolling hills and lush forests, complete with a winding river. It was a far cry from caves like Monoceros or even Orion. And the cave was large enough that it didn't even seemed to be crowded.

Maybe it would've been better if it was crowded, though, because Assistant needed to find people to interview.

Assistant didn't jump to action right away, however much they maybe should've. They were TIRED. They needed to regain the energy needed to talk to people, thank you very much! They sat on a large rock overlooking the river, enjoying the sound of the river. Hey, maybe someone would come to take a drink and they could interview them! That'd be awfully convenient.

Otherwise they could just, y'know, actually get up and look for people.
