It's Fall Writing Madness season, and you know what else it is? Time for a Maji Walezi Event!
MAJI WALEZI
" PROTECT THE LIFE BLOOD OF ORIGIN CAVE
- OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE. "Maji Walezi's goal has always been to make sure that the Waterfall-- which Eeya has confirmed as connected to the entirity of the cave-- continues to run clear and clean. As the Blood of Origin, we must make strives to insure that the Cave can continue to sustain the life of not just our own, but every gembound.
Things are changing for the cave, and not always for the best. Last Cycle, Canis nearly ran out of water, threatening Bonebound's existance. Now, a horrible monster of fire terrorizes Polaris, the birthplace of many gembounds.
It is likely that there are many other problems in the cave, and it is Maji Walezi's duty to make sure that the cave's system continues to function. The Event
The goal of this event is to seek out problems, find solutions, and fix the broken parts of the cave as best as possible to insure the survival of all gembounds.
Threads will be made deticated to certain tasks dependant on rank or objective, with suggestions bellow. Use these threads to get farther ahead in the Fall Writing Madness contest, and feel free to spree by yourself or other members of Maji Walezi! However, once the contest is finished, count up your posts in your finished threads and post in Update Me asking to transfer your earnings (post x 5, you can keep extras from posting in the core or using word of the day, as well as magicka earned for finishing threads!) to the Spire.
The Spire is considered a "Magicka Dump" with a great prize-- and if Maji Walezi can help the Spire reach its goal, perhaps Raheerah can be stopped once and for all! More so, donating magicka to the Spire shows effort given to helping the cave grow and thrive!
(I ask you to post in Update Me instead of straight donating so that I can keep track of totals!) The Tasks
Coordinator Task: Create threads in which your character comes up with plans to Protect and Improve Origin Cave. This includes making maps and, with the information provided by Scouts, marking where problems are and coming up with solutions to fix problems.
Guardian Task: Create threads in which your character works with both scouts and coordinator to carry out solutions to problems in the cave. Cleaning water supplies, provide support for scouts in their missions, parlay information between groups, etc.
Scout Task: Create threads in which your character scouts out Problems in Origin Cave. This includes talking to other groups and lone gembounds, tracing water sources and looking for droughts or lack of prey in areas-- essentially, find where the problems are and report back to base.
Special Tasks:
* Wedding Decorations: While Ky and Leon's wedding isn't necessarily "bettering" the cave, everyone could use some good fashioned fun after all the drama. Any thread revolving around helping with wedding decorations will count towards the MW Event!
* Raheerah's Flames: The great dragon of fire has claimed Polaris for his own! We need to find a way to help gembounds that are injured by his wrath, as well as look into possible options to stop his destruction.
* War Efforts: The Bonebound and the Merrymen are going to war. Many might be injured in the crossfire, and while Maji Walezi hasn't picked a side yet, Scouts should be on the look out for what is happening with other teams, and be ready to help rescue injured!
* Got Ideas? Suggest them and they might be added! The Rules
- Maji Walezi members must donate ʡ5 per their posts in event threads.
- Threads made on or after August 25 will count.
- Unlike Fall Writing Madness, posts do not need to be 200 words, but you might as well have them count for both!
- Tag @Bevy in the first post and mark your thread [MW] in the title to help keep track of MW Events!
If the Spire reaches the goal it needs to produce a new NPC during the time of this event, Shafaer will personally create a detailed group image with all of Maji Walezi characters involved. So go out, create threads, and donate your earnings to the Spire!The Prizes
First Place: The person who donates the most to the Spire will recieve a table created and designed by Shafaer, as well as ʡ100 Magicka!
Runner Up: The person who donates the second most to the Spire will recieve an avatar designed by Shafaer, as well as ʡ50 Magicka!
More Prizes? This is a group event, so if anyone wants to offer up prices (magicka or arts or anything you like!) I'd be happy to put them on the list. The more people that provide prizes, the more places we can have!

*note: Bevy will be helping with the contest, but she cannot win, as she is running the event :P please post below stating that you are joining! Then, as you complete threads, please link your completed threads in your post and provide the number of magicka donated! Completed threads only count if they contain posts made on or after August 25 and fit the objectives. Each post made during the contest will equal a 5ʡ donation. Posts made before the contest don't count. You may donate as much as you like to the Spire, but the minimum is 5ʡ * Posts made in related threads. Good luck!
The contest will end at midnight on September 18, same as Fall Writing Madness!
Characters who are not apart of Maji Walezi are certainly allowed to help! If a gembound joins before the end of the contest (or asks to join) they will be allowed a chance at the prizes! If the Spire reaches its goal and you contributed to a MW event thread, just post bellow or message me and I'll include your character in the group picture even if they don't join Maji Walezi!
