Right overhead, they use the larger shadow of the other to gauge depth and water clarity, and then tilts their head a few times to adjust their eyes to the glare off the sea.

Dread's question of his fast they can fly sparks something competitive in them, and they open their wings and tail wide to catch the wind that the dragon used to take off, easily keeping pace and proud of it, just to his front right over his wing. The occasional twitch of feathers and tail indicated their careful coasting of the airtrail, but otherwise they're quiet and following the dragon.

The indication of the school of fish gets their attention, and they chirp once in acknowledgement. They draw their blade- hitting the waves with their wings would be a bad idea unless they planned to stay in the water, but.. their blade is the length of their forearm, sharp, and cuts through the water with an easy swing as they drop close.

Question is, do they hit any...?

Dread mostly ignored Renasci's flight--it wasn't that he wasn't aware of him, but rather he didn't think it needed comment. It was good the harpy creature could keep up, though, and he banked a little lower and away to give Renasci room to hunt.

They did not catch anything, however, and Dread's light rumble--too quiet to hear over the surf--was one of irritation. He sped up, coasting out over the breakers, then opened his jaws, dropping low as the light of his fire ignited his gullet.

A flamethrower torrent guttered out and down, hissing as it threw steam up through its blinding surge; when he lifted back up, wings beating hard to carry him a safer distance from the water, he'd left a few flailing, half-burned fish in his wake. "CAN YOU GET THOSE?" he roared back, hoping Renasci could snag them up.
