DRONE RAFFLE
In preparation for the upcoming
Order vs Chaos event, Origin's Game Masters are aiming to even the playing field just a little. We have plenty of Valkhounds, Corrupted characters and more--but the relatively newly revealed Order faction has comparatively fewer members.
We can't have that!
Mother is looking to rectify this by creating six new Drones intended to be the core of a new army: soldiers, be they tank or assassin or air support.
This thread is for anyone interested in adopting one. Primarily, if you can be active through the event, you can apply! That said, some priority may be given to players that do not already have an Order or Chaos character. (Though even regular Gembound can choose a side, and take part!) The process will be
by raffle: you apply for adoption, and we will
roll for each winner to see which Drone they are assigned!
(If there is a Drone that triggers a certain phobia or some such, let us know in your application and if we roll it for you, we will reroll!)

These Drones are very large. Some are the maximum allowed, and all have been created for intense physical or magical power. You'll need to be responsible in their use! Drones have
no blood: only a clear fluid and a strange, crystalline webbing throughout their body. If injured, they can regenerate, if given enough time, and exanguination (blood loss) isn't as much a problem for them. Drones also have
no scent: unless they carry Mother's (very stinky) fungus or otherwise perfume themselves with exterior odors, they have no natural smell. All Drones are, at all times, connected to the Hive Mind and can share thoughts and sensations even at a long distance with other Hive members.
Lastly, Drones have a number of drawbacks. Firstly, they
must obey and always serve Mother first and foremost. While normally they wish to, and are influenced toward it, should they rebel she can
physically control them if she must. Second, they have an
irresistable urge toward Order. This means that something as simple as throwing pebbles on the ground before them can stop them as they feel the compulsion to set things right. (This will vary in the form it takes between Drones, but among them it is universal.) Third, any
Master (not magic level, but lore Master of the caves) can instantly identify an Order drone by virtue of their ability to sense the element and gemstone of a Gembound. This means that their ability to take part in later, site-wide plot threads may be limited at times, unless they wish to risk death. (And to note, death may be a possibility for major participants in the Chaos vs Order event--so your Drone may die in glorious battle very early on!)

Plot Information
You may give your Drone any name you like! Their Number and Title will still be assigned to them, and they may go by either, both, or something else entirely. Adopted drones are expected to
take part in the War on the side of Chaos, though posting requirements will be relatively loose. Drones that go entirely inactive
may, by Game Master discretion, be adopted back out in the future.
THE DRONES
Drone 006 Juggernaut
All-terrain tank. Massive, with a hard shell of armor and the ability to scuttle over most surfaces. A shearing mouth at its underside, stabbing limbs, and tentacles with needle-blades at their tips which funnel potentially deadly venom with their strikes.
Drone 007 Warbeast
Hunter. Long-bodied, agile, with hidden eyes and a jaw that splits into four clamping, cutting portions. Immensely fast and quick, intended to operate like the Drone equivalent of a big cat.
Drone 008 Scorn
Bulldozer. Another enormous tank, but sacrificing some armor for speed. Not very agile, but can move fast, plowing through enemies with spined, armored chitin and tearing into them with pointed tusks. Beady eyes and a pincer tail.
Drone 009 Siren
Sorcerer. Intelligent, cunning and savage. Capable of mimicking voices to draw in prey, and using rows of shark's teeth, tentacles and claws to dispatch them. On the battlefield, uses Order magic from the rear to support the frontline soldiers. Gills and fins allow underwater living.
Drone 010 Skyreaver
Fighter jet. Swift and agile in the air, built for speed and savagery. Keen eyesight, clasping or stabbing mantis pincers and rending jaws. Bristles along the spine protect it and keep it warm. Venomous fluid is injected from the tail tip or oozed from pores along its hide; touch causes hallucinations, necrosis, dizziness, and eventually--with a high enough dosage--paralysis.
Drone 011 Devourer
Walking Mouth. Immense jaws that can crush and shear through most things. Can and will eat anything. Carried on a powerful, long body which is always "upright;" symmetrical vertically, flipping it over will do nothing. Both sides of the head are the top
and the jaw, with hinges and a brain set far back. A finned tail allows for swimming.

You read that right! There is also one
Corrupted Valkhound up for re-raffled adoption.
Hjalmar (click) is being readopted out by the roleplayer's request for this event. Hjalmar's personality is already mostly set, though if you are selected to adopt them, they may of course change with more experience. Hjalmar is a relatively new character, and will also be intended to take part in Order vs Chaos.
If you like, you can choose to apply for a Drone
or Hjalmar; Order Drones will be rolled first, so if there is an overflow, those who choose "either" will be added to Hjalmar's roll list.
