Cadenza was not quite sure what it was exactly a Tailor did, but they wanted to help said being now that they knew the other needed help. Little Nymph had gathered gem shards, but they imagined it would be hard to search for gem shards in Pegasus if one had no clue where to start. Nymph knew where they had hatched, if not exactly so.

They knew where there own hatch site was, but taking the obsidian shards to give away felt wrong. But what else could they do?

Maybe, if this Tailor wanted gems, they would perhaps appreciate other pretty things? Like feathers. The brighter the feathers the better, in their opinion. And brighter colors would be easier to find!

One rather lovely orange feather found! They really hoped that this Mimosa they had heard of would like it. If they did not, Cadenza could always keep it. It matched their eye color fairly well. Though they really did hope that the Tailor would like the feathers.

Feathers, plural, because they were hardly going to stop at just one. Bright colors, still, were the name of the game. Because the brighter the easier, as the orange feather had proved.

Somehow, the pink feather they found after searching around was even more lovely than the orange feather they had collected was. It was a softer pink than they had expected to find, but it was nevertheless so very pretty.

Collecting seemed to come easily to Cadenza, perhaps because of the draconic tendency to find and hoard items. At least so far, looking for the brighter feathers. Though they had only found two so far. That likely was not enough. So more feather searching was in the plan!

Next was a rather lovely red feather. They were gathering quite the collection of feathers! They felt proud of their feather-searching skills. This was much easier than they had thought it might be, though that might just be because they were focused on bright feathers for the moment.

They decided to continue to keep an eye out for bright feathers. Three was a start, but it was only that. Maybe they could gather all colors of feathers? It was a hard to reach goal, but they were feeling inspired.

This time around, the search was harder. The feather was a little less fancy looking than the others, but Cadenza deemed it satisfactory.

While they would prefer to go above and beyond with their self-appointed task, they would be happy just knowing how well they had done so far. Sure, the purple feather was not perfect, but they had still found it after some effort. That was what truly mattered.

And they would keep looking!

Cadenza now had five feathers, with this latest light blue added to their collection! It was kind of exciting, how successful they were at this. Still, they tried to keep themself from growing too confident.

It was important to stay observant in their search, after all! If they got overconfident, that would be bad. They might miss some feathers!

This feather was a bit dusty, but the bright yellow shone through underneath it. Was this too many feathers, they wondered briefly, before promptly deciding that there was no such thing as enough feathers.

Feathers were lovely to collect. They were beginning to feel a little obsessed with feathers, to be honest, bit it was for a good cause! They were trying to help someone, and that was a good thing.

A green feather that almost seemed to glow with radiance was their next find. Cadenza paused a moment to simply gaze at it in awe. It kind of seemed a shame to give it away, but they hoped the Tailor would appreciate the quality of this feather just as Cadenza had.

This was probably enough feathers, but Cadenza had a streak going at this point, and they really wanted to find even more. So, they kept searching, still looking for relatively colorful feathers at this point. Though, they might be running out of colors to find soon.

At this point, upon finding the darker blue feather, Cadenza decided they should probably look for more plain feathers as well. Some beings preferred more subdued colors, after all. They decided to start their search with white.

White was still a fairly bright color, after all. Hopefully, they would be able to find a white feather. They were doing well with the colored feathers, but maybe the shift to a different sort of feather would change this.

They did it after some determined searching! It appeared as though Cadenza was very good at finding feathers. Considering they had found nine now, they were feeling great about themself and their feather seeking skills. It was not a skillset they had known they had, until this search had begun. It was nice to learn new things about one's self!

Next, a black feather. Like white, black stood out, so they hoped they would be able to find one without too much trouble.
