Mossie and Imp would find their chocolates filled with sweet, magically delicious Coconut Cream filling. As they ate, that warm and fuzzy feeling would expand, and they'd briefly feel as though they could tell--magically!--how others around them felt. Every detail, every emotion. These Gembounds have learned the spell Greater Empathy!

The Piano, The Sentinel and Wilder would find their chocolates filled with a tasty Crunchy Nut interior. After crunching this away, they'd feel that they could, perhaps, link themselves to feel each and every thought and emotion with another, if they so chose. How delightful-! These Gembounds have learned the spell Sensorial Link!

Samael and Rainstorm would find their chocolates filled with spongy, sweet Pink Nougat! Their emotions would flare, a warm empathy filling them for everyone near. And... maybe they could hold onto that feeling! Maybe they could learn to reproduce it at will..? Or at least, to understand friends and strangers alike! These Gembounds have learned the spell Lesser Empathy!

Raoshar, Wulfsige, Pickles and Yellow would bite into a tangy and intense Coffee Cream filling! The crunch of the chocolate shell gives way to a sweet sensation that somehow, somewhere, life itself--the life of another, of family!--is awaiting their sure touch. These Gembounds have learned the one-time-use spell Guaranteed Give Life!

Adenium, Khavur and Tourmaline find their tongues and teeth filled with chewy, delicious, buttery Caramel! And--what's this? Something so hard it could shatter the teeth, but it doesn't. Spit it out--and--ah! These Gembounds find a GM-Designed Lost Stone in their candy! ...Weird!

Catawampus, Andy and Parthenium bite down and get a mouth full of surprisingly tasty but totally strange Pistachio Cream filling! The sensations of love, chocolates and... flowers..? briefly flit through their heads. Flowers-... Yeah, that sounds right. These Gembounds learn the spell Blossom!

Sprig has a strange experience indeed. His chocolate begins as Pistachio Cream, but as he tastes it it--changes? Magically adapting... into Coconut Cream instead! He will find his heart and mind delving deep into the concept of empathy with others, as Sprig learns the spell Greater Empathy!

Forgraves experiences similar: a shifting change, one that turns Pistachio into Crunchy Nut filling mid-bite! How strange. With it comes a new sensation: that link between friends or even strangers can be strengthened! Forgraves learns the spell Sensorial Link!

Sakhira, Peach Scone and Bacchus find the delightful crisp of Toffee Crunch in their teeth! With it comes the strange sensation that the Lessers of the caves deserve this warmth, too. Maybe they could share, could bond with one and share company and joy! These Gembounds learn the spell Familiar Forge.

Arquia and Fahl find simple but tasty Chocolate Nougat greeting their tastebuds, magically infused to taste delicious regardless of their species! The feeling of fuzzy warmth increases, and it feels strangely like... well... everyone should get along? Everyone could get along--if only they tried! And--suddenly they knew how to do it! These Gembounds learn the spell Charm.

Esther finds their flavor changing, strangely, from Chocolate Nougat to something... Crunchier! Toffee Crunch sparks across their tastebuds, and like others who taste this flavor, they feel a strange sense that they could share their life with a lesser creature, and both could be enriched... Esther learns the spell Familiar Forge.

Gembounds can continue to socialize in this thread. The sensation of warm and fuzzy happiness will remain until they exit!

The magic inside the chocolates now fades, along with any hidden gemstones... but normal, non-magical chocolates can still be found and eaten for the heck of it.

New entrants will no longer receive rewards, but may eat random chocolates. Spell rewards have been distributed--please post in Update Me if anyone was missed! Stones will be designed shortly.

Imp savored the coconut cream, basking in the new sensation for all of three seconds before immediately pushing it aside. Magic wasn't his thing, really. But--who was that?

"HEY! Yeah! Friends!" he yelled, waddling his way as fast as he could for Parthenium. "I'm Imp! We should ALL be friends! ...-FAHL?! IS THAT YOU!? HEEEEY BUDDY! C'MERE, I GOT US A NEW FRIEND!" he yelled, his voice top-volume.

He pushed the iridescent, sequined beret slightly to one side where it sat around his horns, the horns twisting up through the holes sewn into it. "ALSO COME LOOK AT MY HAT!" he crowed, excitedly.

He walked up to Parthenium, grinning, a manic cheerfulness in his face. Happy! He was happy! "SO-! ...What do you do?" he asked, launching straight into joy-drugged small talk.

For Khavur's probing magic, the Sentinel would feel primarily... confused. Even as he turned to Khavur, halberd held tightly in one hand, there was faint alarm and bewilderment atop that strange, foreign sensation of warmth. And the warmth--it stood alone, apart from him. He felt it, he partook but it was not of him--like dipping a hand in hot water, he felt it but it was not of his making.

Ahh, and in the background--behind it all--the constant roar of Chaos. Dulled, by this--whatever-it-was--but ever-present nonetheless, a call to clash and war.

Yet for all the tumble of emotions in The Sentinel, he was as still, stoic, and expressionless as ever. Though perhaps for a skull to smile was a difficult prospect.

His head swivelled to peer at Khavur, this fellow Forge who had arrived swathed in his cloak of fruit-air, and took a moment in formulating his answer. "It is not his own," he rasped, at last. And, eyes narrowing in thought--"Does it feel this? A-..." His attention was wandering. Or maybe he was searching for the right words, but his head shifted back to stare at the vision--unrelenting--of love-in-war. His head canted to one side as he studied this in great detail. "The throwing-down-of-weapons. The embracing. They are close. Chaos is replaced," he offered.

Which--so far as The Sentinel's linguistic abilities were concerned--was probably the best Khavur was going to get.

Any other time, Raoshar would have certainly objected to being handled like the ball of fluff they were. They, however, had been consumed by the warm fuzzies, and being cradled by a complete stranger didn't immediately trigger their fight or flight.

Instead, their eyes squinted close, and their lips raised to show teeth. A grimace or perhaps a smile, as their hind talons flexed in the air.

"Put me down," was all that they said at first. A firm demand, with no teeth behind it. Golden slits opened to stare daggers at the Catawampus that was manhandling him. "At least introduce yourself first."

Most of the scattered Gembound Tourmaline hasn't seen before. The black shape of the Sentinel is familiar from Nakistal's event, but that was about it.

She lets the chocolate melt in her mouth, but turns when she hears a familiar voice. "Oh, herwo Aqkwia," she babbles with it in her mouth. She hadn't expected to see her again so soon.

That's when the chocolate in her mouth stops tasting like chocolate and more like a rock. Spitting out the stone into the dirt, she's genuinely surprised to see it actually a gemstone. "Huh. How did that get there?"

The chocolate in her mouth was filled with flavor, and although she was carnivorous, the chocolate nougat was one of the most amazing things she had ever tasted. And oh god the feeling was spreading. It morphed from a kind of content happiness to the urge to spread this happiness she was feeling with everyone else. Snap out of this! She did not think such thoughts!
But although Arquia couldn't care less about the other gembound here, Tourmaline was her good friend. Yes, that was the ideal target to spread this happiness with! And for some reason, she knew exactly how to do that. It was a tug from her stone. She didn't believe magic was reliable, and so didn't use spells very much, but something told her that she should believe in it this time. And the magic spread out, she could feel it emanate from her stone, hopefully Tourmaline would feel happier!
The dragon is glad to see her friend is enjoying her chocolate, but it incredibly confused when the Pallas' cat spits it out. Did it turn out that chocolate did not suit her taste? But when Arquia peered closer, she realized why. "Strange, it is a gemstone." she tilted her head slightly in thought, "Seems a bit dangerous to place in chocolate."

What a wonderful feeling--!

The Piano was suddenly flooded by an inexplicable rush of confidence that it could, if it chose, simply reach out its magic to feel another Gembound's each and every emotion, and vice versa, in a free exchange of thought. Was this not the very thing it strove to achieve with its playing? To understand another through music, and to be understood in turn? To express its deepest joys and fears, not by spelling it out word by word, but through raw harmony and charged melodies?

This would make a wonderful tool to supplement its own voice with, The Piano decided as it wheeled itself away, almost in a trance-like state. It had descended into a state of pure bliss and happiness upon discovering this new ability. It was as if it had achieved its very life's purpose! I simply must try it out soon. Perhaps when The Collector and I play our little duet...

While the fuzzy warm happiness he was feeling here was delightful, the little grub felt particularly inspired to share this feeling with his dear companion. So, slowly, he walked along on his multiple pairs of legs, a partially eaten chocolate in his tiny grasp.

It would take some time, but he was determined. Making his companion happy was one of his greatest joys. And he could share the knowledge of words with her, now that he knew what they were, too!

The nougat contained within the chocolate had settled as an ember in the pit of his stomach. Heat radiating from it enveloped each organ touched, the sensation saturating every tissue, as it strived to penetrate through scales and reach the outside world. To Fahl, this felt like a woolen blanket draping over him from head to twitching fins. The urge for his fellow Gembound to join together and establish bonds of friendship made Imp's eager summons even more irresistible than if he'd been sober. This in turn further weighed down the fuzziness surrounding him, and so he stumbled forward on unsteady paws to meet his mentor and the prospective canine friend which the batgator was talking to.

Impressions, fretted an ingrained concern. Although overall positive emotions had been amplified by what he'd consumed, the need to love and be loved had caused this too to announce its presence, louder than ever before. The knowledge imparted upon him itched to be used as the thought surged; common sense on leave, he tugged at it, unquestioning as to its origin or why the desire to use it was so strong.

"Whoa, that's the most... fantastic hat I've ever seen," he said. Words struggled to be strung into coherent sentences, those that would have instantly jumped to mind now swimming through molasses to reach his grasp. "So, uh, spa-spang? Um, sparkles. Yeah, sparkly."

That was definitely it. Maybe.

"Hey, uh... what's your face? What sort of magic you got? You know, me and Imp pal here are fire. Real masters and shit." He pondered for a moment before laughing at a memory that'd surfaced unbidden. "Huh, guess you can call me Master-Fahl."

The warmth from seeing Arquia magnifies with her magic. Tourmaline cozies up to the dragon, sitting her fluffy self down on her claws. "I didn't know it could be so nice to see you," she purrs.

Looking at the little stone on the ground, she does sigh. "Weird place to put a stone, though. I suppose I'll have to take good care of it. Maybe we should bring it to my den for safekeeping?"
