Gemini was right next to Polaris, so Sakhira didn't have to wander very far after eating the chocolate to stumble upon the crystal cave. The moment she entered, she was blown away. She thought Orion and Polaris were pretty, but Gemini was absolutely breathtaking. It hit her hard, and she almost couldn't breathe, eyes wide as she took in her surroundings. SHINY. EVERYWHERE. HOLY. This was instantly her favorite cave. No competition.
The small sphynx wandered around, occasionally pecking at a crystal here or there. The chocolate she had eaten earlier, though the taste had long faded away, was still present in her mind. Or at least the feeling it had given her. The urge to befriend. And not just anything. A lesser.
And for some reason or the other, she felt a really strange sensation from her stone. It was tingly. It was... magic. She could sense... something. But what was she sensing? What did she just do? She had no idea. That was weird.

Cadenza knew there was a tunnel in this cave that led to Leo. But they did not know the name of this beautiful cave, and they felt lesser for not knowing. As a soon to be parent, they needed to know everything they could. Because Cadenza did not know, they felt inadequate.

It hurt more knowing they were so close to their childrens' chrysalises, and yet they could not go back yet. Cadenza knew if they went back, they would not be able to get themself to leave again and they needed to gather more knowledge.

But they spotted a small gembound in the nearby distance, though most beings were small in comparison to them, with proportions that made Cadenza suspect this was a child. "Hello there," Cadenza called out in their musical tones.

"I am Cadenza... Who might you be?" They paused momentarily as they almost introduced themself as 'the child of Pride and Dread' because they were more than that now. They were going to be a parent, no longer a child.

"...Do you mind me asking if you have parents?" Cadenza gently inquired.

Her senses lit up as Cadenza approached, and she realized what she was sensing had been another gembound. Whoa! They were HUGE! She tried to fluff herself up a bit, but since she had no feathers it didn't really work. As the dragon approached, Sakhira stood her ground. If anything, she felt a burning sense of curiosity and wonder rather than fear. She had never met a gembound with such pretty colors!

The cub walked a bit closer when they spoke, seeing that they were friendly. "Sakhira, like..." she trailed off as she struggled to relate it to something. Metaphors and similes were not something she had learned yet, but it was something ingrained in her nature, and she felt the need to make a comparison. "sand." Okay, not the most poetic thing she could have come up with, but that was her first try! And it wasn't toooo bad.

"Nice to meet Cadenza." her head tilted slightly at the next question, "No, I hatched out of a wall." she remembered this term from Bug. Anyone who did not have parents, like her, simply hatched from walls. "Need I leave? You live here?" she wasn't sure why someone would randomly come and talk to her, it was a strange experience. And the idea that Cadenza lived here wasn't too far of a stretch, considering the dragon was as pretty as the crystals here and definitely fit the vibe.

Like sand? What a peculiar comparison. "What makes you akin to sand?" Cadenza wondered, gently curious.

"It is nice to meet you as well, Sakhira," Cadenza warmly stated. "You need not leave, unless you wish to."

There was something sad to Cadenza about children hatching out of walls, alone and parentless, without support.

"While I do not live here, one of my homes can be accessed from a nearby tunnel. I live by the bay, there. But I was merely exploring at the moment, I have never been to this cave before," There was a hint of melancholy to their musical tone as they spoke of their close home.

"Are you here to explore, too?" They inquired.

She has never experienced sand before, nor has she ever seen it. So she did not know what made her similar to sand in the slightest. It was not what the word meant, rather, it was how it sounded. And being a sphynx had pushed that word to the front of her mind despite her lack of experience concerning it. "Saaand. Saaakhira." The sound was like that of desert wind, Monoceros. Wait till she finds out Hydra exists.

"Thank you," Sakhira glanced around the area before returning her gaze back to the dragon, "Bay. Sound soft. Like sand." She wanted to go to this place called a bay sometime. She associated nice sounding words with nice places. The cub noted that as Cadenza spoke, it sounded like music. It was very soothing. She immediately liked them.

"Here to find a friend. Lesser friend." she didn't explain the whole chocolate situation, it was quite complicated to explain feelings like that. Sakhira closed her eyes, trying to replicate the spell she had cast earlier, and the magical feeling came, stronger this time. It tingled in her forehead, and suddenly she could sense it. The presence. It was a crystalwing bat, though she did not know it by that name. Opening her eyes again, she pointed with her beak towards the top of the cave. "There!"
