He'd emerged from this weird thing - he didn't know, he didn't care, the fact was, the little mink could now explore the new world with two huge eyes filled with mischief and adventure. There were others like him when he had been "born", but the youngster was quick to peel away from them despite their gracious help and advise. And now it was just a couple days since the event and already he stumbled into a cave of annoyance and darkness. Standing up onto his hind legs, German inhaled all the scents that floated among the rock and plants - everything was so new to him. Scurrying through the large cave, small claws clicking against the stone, the young mink took it upon himself to go a little deeper, hoping to find some pretty treasure. This looked like a place for it, right?

The hell is this? Twisting his head sideways just a tad bit, his royal purple eyes would fixate upon one of the many tunnels that were carved and created by who knows what. Long strings of moss managed to grow in this heap of rock, so what better way to make use of this than to tear it up? With a small smirk, German dove into a pile of moss before him and tore into it, completely rendering it useless and leaving it to die from the lack of life that it had while rooted within the cracks of the rock. Mwahaha! Sure, he could have used it to build a bed, but the virgin snowy mink hadn't planned on staying here forever. Belly rumbling, it appeared that it was time to find some water and food so he could continue causing reign of terror. Planting himself up onto his hind feet once more, he lifted his little pink nose towards the ceiling of the cave, hoping to catch whiff of some water, but instead catching a gross odor from someone sulking about.

Ever since he had committed himself to brother Dragon's little 'group' idea, Ghanyarah hadn't much chance to explore the rest of the cave. He'd been given the opportunity to do so before, when the alligator dragged him out on their quest to find Aquarian's stolen collar, and then Ghanyarah had gone on an escapade of his own to wreck havoc in Canis. Granted it wasn't so much havoc as it was just... a minor inconveniencing, but... And that chicken he'd found, too. Boy, he sure gave her a run for her money. As far as he could tell, she was dead by the time he had bolted after the raptor showed up to steal his lunch. Whatever. He had caught something when he got back home anyways, and then he lay down for a nap, only to have Dragon interrupt his rest with that strange summoning noise.

Since then, Ghanyarah had busied himself helping lay down the foundations of Dragon's group. Only now had he the chance to slip away and investigate more of the cave rooms, while his brother was busy tending to other matters. His full size conferred him courage and arrogance. Once a small prey animal, the beast had developed into the massive girth that was typical of komodo dragons; heavy weight hung from his torso and his limbs were thick, powerful with muscle. Folds of skin rolled up along his neck and beneath his arms. He truly was a sight to behold - and he made sure to take advantage of it.

Eridanus was the Gracie's home. Every now and then he would wander to the jungle room, venturing into its mists in search of the panda bear. So far he'd been lucky in that he usually found her, but today after searching he still hadn't been able to track her down. Even following the trail of harvested sugar cane had led him to a dead end, where he finally decided to groan and take a break from searching. If she really wanted to hang out with him then maybe she'd make the effort to find him herself. In the mean time, Ghanyarah distracted himself by hunting down a small rat. It made a decent meal in terms of passing the time; it wouldn't satisfy his hunger or his boredom for long, but he made due. The komodo reclined down into the leaf litter, leaning onto his side. He was propped up with one of his forearms folded on the ground, legs stretched elegantly out behind him while he used his other clawed hand to pick at the scraps of meat between his teeth.

It wasn't until a sudden sound had attracted his attention - somewhere beyond his vision, a little white noodle had crept up into the foliage, tearing into the moss for no reason. He hadn't spotted the mink until he stood up, but Ghanyarah made no move towards him. "Oh, wow." He said lazily, continuing to pick the meat from his teeth. "Look at you go. Compensating for something, short stack?" Ghanyarah snickered.

As scruffy as ever, the little guy continued to sniff around, brain collecting as much information as it could for his age. It was then a voice that startled him half dead, fur upon his spine jumping up as he leapt backwards into the air and scurried into a nearby bundle of brush. Seconds would pass until he would pop his head back out to see a large ugly lizard thing just casually laying there as if he were preparing to sacrifice himself to the gods. Once German saw who startled him, his face immediately grew agitated as he barked back with a tiny voice, "Нет! Нет! Нет! Yo-.." he paused for a moment, attempting to collect his thoughts and figure out how to speak properly. "No! I am .. I am tall! I will be tall! Taller than you ever will be!" the mink would attempt to convince the trespasser and himself. Who had the right of way to dash into his little space and call him a small fry? No one! This beast would pay for his insults!

As bold as a bear, German was quick to lung forward at the scaly animal, small body in tow to cause this nuisance pain for his words. The youngster had a bit of time before he grew to his full size, and to this large lizard ahead of him, he was just a small ball of dust, yet the boy didn't seem to understand this quite yet. Small white baby teeth would flash for just a moment as he plodded forward awkwardly before his feet would fail him, the small foreigner landing flat on his face. He still was not used to running and even had a bit of a time walking, legs weak and attempting to connect with the brain as they grew stronger. Laying face down upon the rock, the boy murmured angrily, "Mphfff...." Nothing that could be understood. Still sprawled across the floor, stomach on the cold hard stone, he lifted his head to face his large challenger, orbs beaming with boldness and ready to take another strike at the beast.

With one claw, the reptile scraped at the gaps between his teeth, pulling out chunks of both fresh and decaying meat. Bits and pieces of meat, fur and bone often got wedged in his gums, and while Ghanyarah tried to keep a relatively clean mouth, he couldn't help when things got stuck up there and then forgotten. Besides, with his rancid carrion breath and a bite that typically teemed with bacteria, he figured it helped with the whole 'intimidating and scary' image.

The mink, though, didn't quite respond to his overbearing stature the way Ghanyarah had expected. Where he assumed the mink would probably run away at the sight of the chunky predator - and he did, at first - the little noodle was quick to emerge from his hiding place stuttering a weak response. The words he spoke at first weren't familiar, prompting Ghanyarah to cock an eyebrow at him, but they were soon followed by the child clamoring to excuse his lack of height with fanciful whimsy. Unfortunately, even his vibrant reaction wasn't enough to dissuade Ghanyarah, and the reptile only clutched his stomach and leaned back, laughing. "Ah- oh, thats rich." He hissed and resumed picking at his teeth.

Ghanyarah made no effort no move, even when the mink started running towards him. This gembound looked rather young - in fact, Ghanyarah nearly mistook him for a lesser gembound and a possible meal. Well, in all fairness, he probably could serve as a possible meal. Sunset pink eyes watched lazily as the mink charged towards him, expecting the impact to be no more than a bump on the noggin - when it failed to be even that. Instead, the mink tripped over his own feet and tumbled into the ground, producing a mess of white fuzzy noodle all tangled up in himself. Again, Ghanyarah barked out a laugh, dragging his claws down his face as if trying to restrain himself. Then he rolled onto his stomach, slapping his clawed hands in the mud and thumping his face down in front of the mink. The boy's glowering defiance was responded to with no more than a puff of air-

Post-Roll Edit:
-the coldness of which climbed up his throat, and immediately got caught. Ghanyarah choked, sputtered and sunk his face into the mud.

Okay, so, maybe he could use this to his advantage. While he quietly tried to recover from failing miserably, Ghanyarah fell completely limp, pretending that he'd been stricken dead.

Whoever this stupid guy was, he had successfully began to piss off German. There was some crystal upon his head that he didn't notice until the smelly breathed older gembound put his face closer to his own. It hadn't occured to the little mink just how large this animal was, and for a moment, a sense of fear surged through the small boy. A strange puff of air was felt upon his white face before the large lizard tumbled down onto the ground, face into the mud below. It confused German for a moment before a huge smirk spread across his face, and he quickly propped himself back onto his feet with loud words, "Aha!" This was his chance to finally get back at the wanna-be cool stone thingy. Throwing himself forward, the white mink climbed onto the head of the beast and started gnawing on the gemstone that stuck out from his head.

German would spin around it, biting at it before stopping to spin around it once more and trying to find a weaker section of it. "TAKE THIS! And THAT!" All he could feel was the teeth within his mouth slowly aching, mouth too small to fully grasp even just a little bit of the crystal - so he would look like a gluttonous chipmunk who put too many acorns in it's face. There was a surge rushing through his body, whether it was just adrenaline or some other magical sense, German chose to ignore it as he continued to scratch and bite at the beasts stone, feeling powerful and mighty. Soon, he would conquer this ugly beast and make him do everything he said! "Dieeee!"

Laying in the mud, it took all of Ghanyarah's strength and concentration to not accidentally reveal that he was in fact still alive. His eyes squeezed shut to prevent any mud from accessing them and his breathing was careful, timed and subtle. Just as he anticipated, the little noodle took advantage of Ghanyarah's sudden death. He scampered up the lizard's head, during which Ghanyarah painfully tried to refrain from snapping him up right then and there, and clambered to the lizard's skull where he began assaulting the morganite points sprouting from his crest. The lizard lay still for seconds more, allowing the mink to get in a few good bites. It barely hurt - the sensation was more of an annoyance than an ache.

Once the noodle had sufficiently gnawed his stone to death, the reptile gave no warning before he suddenly pushed himself back up out of the mud, throwing his head back. The move was intended to toss the mink up into the air, so that he would come soaring back down into the lizard's gaping jaws - only he was a little too ambitious in tossing his head back, and may have sent the mink flying in a different direction all together. All he knew was that after standing with his jaws agape for a second and receiving no tasty meal, something had gone wrong with his plan.

He continued to try to kill the gemstone upon the head of the lizard before suddenly the beast began to move. Legs spreading, he attempted to grasp the lizard but was quick to fail as the snake-thing lowered his head for a moment before snapping it back up, causing the mink to fly high up into the air. "Whoaaaa!" he yelled out, spreading his legs and preparing for a landing. German wasn't sure where he'd land, or what the beast was trying to do with him, but he clearly was flying AWAY from the lizard which allowed him some room to prepare for the fall without having to avoid falling on the hard rock ting. "I'll get yoooooooooooooou-" he'd yell out as his voice grew softer and softer.

Finally, the boy made his landing, quite roughly too - rolling a bit before coming to a stop. If it wasn't for the soft moss beneath him, he'd have probably broken something, but luck was on his side and now the boy was aiming for revenge. He'd scurry across the floor towards the lizard, yelling out in his loudest voice, "HEY YOU, THAT WAS NOT COOL!" Rushing up to the lizard, he'd stop right in front of his huge head, hissing at him and cursing within his head. It was then that German realized that the stranger had played a game with him and he WANTED for the little mink to get onto his head. If that was how he was going to play it, German would step up his game. "You can't defeat me!" he'd yell out, standing his ground - looking like a little mouse compared to a huge cougar.

Sure enough, he'd accidentally sent the mink flying in a different direction as foretold by the mink's voice sailing away. The komodo dragon clacked his jaws together, disappointed in the emptiness between them before he jerked his head in the direction he'd tossed the mink. He rotated his body too, tilting his head as he peered through the foliage in search of the little white noodle. At first, he couldn't even see the mink - but his white fur soon stood out against the green as he burst out of the foliage and made a lunge for Ghanyarah, bounding gracefully (was a mink running graceful? He looked more like a high-speed slinky, to be honest) back at him and shrieking his battle cry. The mink only stopped just short of his fat head, spewing another challenge while standing his ground. Honestly, he was just making this too easy.

Post-Roll Edit:
As soon as the mink had finished rattling off his challenge, Ghanyarah reeled his head back and dredged up all the moisture in his digestive system and saliva, collecting it as only water before he spat it in a quick and steady stream at the mink. It probably wasn't enough to knock the mink down, but it was still a fairly decent blast of water - maybe that would show the little noodle not to mess with him!

Right as the mink slid to a stop, a blast of water went right into his face. "YO- ARGHGURGLE!!" As the water dripped down from his now wet face of fur, German just stood there wide eyed, wondering how in the world such an beast could spit that much water out of his face. Was he a God? Was he some magic thing? Immediately, his eyes grew big and face full of excitement. Without even thinking about what just happened, the small baby mink rolled over right to the lizards head and stuck his two front legs on top of it's snout, peering over with bulging eyes. "Whooaaaaaaaaaaa!" Smiling widely, he then hopped fully onto the snout and crawled closer to the left eye of the beast.

Almost instantly, Germans personality changed from being a stubborn little mink to one who was now extremely curious and wanted to know everything this stranger could do. Two small beady purple eyes glanced into the left eye of the older one, and he spoke up excitedly. "Ho-HOW'D YOU DO THAT? SHOW ME, SHOW ME!" It had to be some powerful magic that was within the gemstone on top of the snake-like creatures head. So if HE could do some magic, why couldn't German? The boy began to grow excited at the possibilities of what he might be able to do. Could he spray water into someones face? Or create a whole lake?!

With his aim as true as his disdain for animals with fur, the komodo dragon succeeded in spewing a stream of water at the little mink. It had hit him square in the face with enough pressure to knock him back. Ghanyarah almost didn't expect it to have worked, but the young mink must have been too intent on punishing him to realize the imminent danger he was in. Thankfully, Ghanyarah was too busy delighting in his victory to follow through with his initial plan to gobble the little noodle up. Leaning back with a proud 'ha ha!', he was only brought back by the mink's enthusiasm. Ghanyarah furrowed his brow and stooped in closer, but it was too late. He'd already scurried up his face.

Ghanyarah scowled and withdrew, but the mink by now was sitting on his face and curiously imploring for an explanation as to what he'd just done. The dragon blinked his sunset pink eyes, confused. He wanted... to learn how to do that? But Ghanyarah wasn't a teacher. He tried to teach Eve how to draw and failed miserably. Maybe this would be different... It wasn't drawing, it was magic. And everybody could do magic. Right? "Okay, okay, get off my face!" The lizard hissed and shook his head. "I'll show you, but only if... You call me 'Sensei'. Yeah. 'Sensei Ghanyarah'. Got it, pipsqueak?" He snorted.
