MAGICKA LEVEL 100%
RESTORED TO 100%
After searching Eridanus and Orion, Venari moved toward Polaris; she had taken several rests to let her magicka restore, the use of her third eye quite tiring. This had been her longest rest yet because she knew the heightened energy of Polaris would prove to be a challenge. It could be very overstimulating considering how sensitive her magic-sensing eye was, but as she plunged into the heart of the caves, she felt an immediate feedback—it was here.
Pausing, she focused on the piece of moonstone she carried with her, then looked back out into the room. Yes, there could be no mistake, it was a match. Despite that, a sour pit formed in her gut. Surely a brother does not go missing in as common a place as Polaris?
She ventured forth, making her way past the Spire until a particular golem caught her attention. Adorned with gemstones and other magical bits and bobs, the rock-like creature shambled its way toward the river aimlessly.
Ah...
Well, she would bring the stone back, at least. It would not be what Arsu had wanted but it was better than nothing at all, or perhaps even worse—the stone was alive enough to emit Azizos's magic still, so all was not completely lost. Arsu could simply make a new brother.
With advanced speed, Venari slithered toward the golem with scythe-like mandibles ready to grab it. She coiled around its many rocks in an attempt to subdue it before it could fall into scattering pieces; locating the moonstone was easy at so close a range. With the diamond scythe, she cleaved it clean off of the stone and dismounted the trembling rock in one smooth motion. The golem had been gobbled up and spit back out of a tornado of legs, and though Venari retreated from it now, it collapsed into several smaller pieces and rolled away to protect the rest of its hoard.
It could do whatever it liked now that she had her prize. She examined it momentarily to confirm the match and then set back home to Eridanus in pursuit of Arsu's wandering magic there.
