The lammergeier has been... quiet, lately. He's recently been splitting his time between the Tunnels less and less, given some brown ... cat... thing showed up and told him Master Vargas had assigned them as a watch buddy. It's been nice to not run himself ragged again, and practice some of his magic for a change.

Away from the cold, away from bad memories.

Though, the suck-thud of the geysers makes him flinch each time he can hear one inhale. On a whim, he decides to see if he can make the sneeze of one of the vents less audible. He can make noises much, much louder. Why not try and make things quieter? It may help if he ever has to strut across the snows of Ursa again.

Ever. More like when he has to take that gauntlet again. He's not looking forward to it, but. If the choice is between the numbing cold and the numbness emanating from a much more terrifying place inside, he'll take the frostbite. That can heal anyway.
