Appearance: This character will have a major + minor mut slot used on it before it hatches (this has been claimed in MM); the effects are those of the Black Altar on the developing child.
That being said, the rolled stone was... sure something. This child will basically be a larger brown bear (~6 feet at the shoulder), but dull near-black in color, its thick fur constantly matted and dripping with Oil. Small pinprick eyes and the inside of its (bear-structured, camel soft tissue with spikes) maw give off a soft teal-blue light. Its neck is powerful and arched, with teeth that jut saber- and tusk-like from both upper and lower jaws. Its gemstone forms long and twisted horns that look organic, dully colored, Oil-stained. Its jaws can open far too wide, eerily so, and the interior of the mouth is lined with backward-pointing spikes. Jagged spines stick haphazardly from the fur. (The color/mouth glow is a minor mut. The tusk/saber teeth and spines are a major mut.)

Original stone's owner: 'A large, familiar, hexapedal creature with a meerkat head, two snake eyes, no visible ears, no visible nose, and a camel-like mouth. It had a horse-neck, and its shoulders are narrow. It has a rhino torso. It has six, medium-length ostrich legs and a wolf tail. Its head is covered in luxurious hair, while the rest of its body is covered in scales. It is completely mahogany with dark grey rings.'
