Never be ashamed of a scar

It simply means you’re stronger than what tried to hurt you

Lif’s cocoon was made of black spinel. When Lif hatched, she used her hooves to get out, and when she finished emerging, she opened her eyes, raised her head and looked around at her cold environment. She laid there for a few minutes, before getting the urge to try and stand up.
She looked at her long legs and started to move them, able to get up and stand on all fours. She smiled a little, then she fell back on the stony ground, with an echoing thud.

Her little tumble didn’t hurt her at all, she then again moved her legs to make her stand.
After many attempts, she finally stood properly. When that task was completed, all she had to do was to try and take her first step. She looked at her long legs that made her tall and took a first step on the cold stony floor.

Ill had watched the little long-legged thing be born. Ill had been born once too- A shocker, huh. His flippers moved quickly and yet somehow silently, away from the waters edge where he had been loafing. He was feeling rather.. aggressive.. today- And for some reason, watching that birth occur, made him want to approach with unkindness.

As he seal-ran up to the thing, he did his best to let it have no time to respond, instead tilting his head downwards, and ramming into the little deer, sharp crown of gems pointing at her spindly newborn legs. He had no clue how he wasn't seen coming, but the opportunity to maybe get his first kill was enticing- Plus, he was hungry, and everyone knew a leopard seal wouldn't be put past eating something that wasn't fish or penguin.

OORP: oops, forgor to roll- Make sure when you respond to say she got jab jabbed! Also, make sure to write a "Round 1, Attempt, Defense, and Injuries thing". Her injury should be... She got jab jabbed, and you can use the attempt button (select physical combat or use your spell) and type in the little box what you're trying to do!

Lif took an unexpected hit as soon as she took her first step.
She got knocked off her feet and hit the cold floor, and it hurt, she didn't know what hit her. "Argh!!", Lif screamed with pain from the huge blow. She looked up and found a 6 foot long leopard seal with eyes full of rage.
Her eyes widened out of fear, and took off running, she almost fell because she just took her first step and wasn't given a chance to try and walk, but she ran as fast as she could, she looked behind her and saw the leopard seal coming right behind her, chasing her. She didn't know what she did wrong to have made the leopard seal angry and attack. She was confused, she was just born into this cold, place and the first thing that happened to her was to be attacked. She ran into a dead end and got cornered, she turned around and saw the leopard seal get closer and closer, Lif didn't know what was gonna happen to her. She looked around to see a way to escape, but there was nothing that the leopard seal wasn't blocking with its wide and long body. She looked back at the angry seal she saw as a monster, then she felt angry and aggression, like she wanted to hurt it too.

She had no choice but to fight back.

Ooc: I thought you wanted this to be an official fight lols- NVM tho.

Ill huffed- It was hard to drag 70 pounds of himself across dry land, and pebbles dug at his belly- Rather un-comfy. He stopped again, catching the Sight of the bleeding leg, and it fueled his murder drive. It seemed the deer attempted to do something in defense, but whatever it was, didn't work in the slightest, and Ill rammed into her again, though this time it was with the force of his body, not a stab of his crown.

Lif tried to defend herself, but it only made the situation worse, the leopard seal attempted to attack her again but, luckily, failed.
Lif was grateful that the leopard seal's attempt failed, both her and the leopard seal knew that one more hit would be the end of her. She couldn't think of another way to defend herself, until she thought of one.
She jumped up at the leopard seal's chin and headbutted him, and she headbutted hard!!!!
The leopard seal's head went up and fell on his back, which left a ton of opening for Lif to escape!! Lif jumped and bounced off the big belly of the leopard seal and ran as fast as she can.

Ill

Ill turned, as if to leave, when the thing attempted to strike him, falling in a tumble of its own legs. A grin spread across his features at the sight, his body turning, flipper claws making contact with skin in an attempt to score across the bridge of the deer's nose.

His missed though, as he swung his heavy body around, flipper making contact with only the stone of the cave as he growled. Ill then turned fully, leaving the thing to where it fell, dragging its now-sore body back towards where he knew water lay.
