In a realm threatened from without and within, weapons are not limited to pike and shot, but will and wit. As the plague spreads throughout the Holy Imperial Covenant, stealing the lives of the faithful of Ignivar, the spectre of the Bronze Sultanate looms on the southern horizon. The people look to their Emperor not only for strength and wisdom but a viable solution to both increasingly desperate situations.

As if plague and the threat of invasion were not enough, heretics stir within the realm, bringing a wave of darkness to challenge the seat of power. Those who are not secure enough in their faith may succumb to the shadowy enticements of power, wealth, and influence. The forbidden magic grows like a pernicious weed that could smother the fires of Ignivar.

Nobles and commons alike stand together on these fronts as the rumbles of war sound and discontent stirs in the hearts of the Holy Imperial Covenant. Sides are being chosen, some more consciously than others. Soon, the Emperor will summon... will you heed the call?

MM is a grimdark, original sandbox setting where characters rise and fall on their own merits for intermediate to advanced writers that is now officially open. As our world grows, the need for heroes and villains remains strong, characters to mould the setting and write the stories.
