CLOSED FOR WINTER. All queued items will still be finished, but I will not be accepting new work until the cold snap is over!
Tadpole's Art Shop
Want to add a little something more to your profiles? I've got you! Basic character work, designs, table assets, and more!
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. I reserve the right to decline a character or work. This is not intended as an insult to anyone's designs or characters. Sometimes a request is outside my skill set or would take far too long to complete. If you have paid anything, you will be refunded immediately on refusal.
2. You may use assets on other platforms, but please do not credit me or link back to any socials/characters here on Origin. I very much enjoy my privacy.
3. I am a disabled artist. Please be patient with me. If you feel as if you've been forgotten, please reach out, and I am happy to update you.
4. Tasteful nudity is accepted and welcomed. NSFW content (i.e. porn, fetish art, etc.) is not. Anything that goes against site rules is, likewise, not welcome.
THE GOODS
All backgrounds will be transparent or simple shapes unless stated otherwise. You may request a full-body, partial or headshot, all works will be completed with the same amount of time and care. Headshots/partials will have more attention to detail than a full-body.
If you are struggling to see any of the examples, right-click and select 'open image in new tab' to see the full-size image!
Pixel icons - ʡ20
25px x 25px icons that are made in a similar feel to Origin's elements and achievements.
Animated Pixel Icons - ʡ30
25px x 25px icons, but with a simple one- or two-frame animation.
Gemstone Paintings - ʡ50
A painterly piece of your character's gemstone.
Rough Character Sketches - ʡ100
Coloured sketches, usually flat colours with little to minimal shading. Linework will be messy but readable.
Clean Character Works - ʡ250
Coloured portraits, with light to decent amounts of shading. Linework will be tidied and neatened up.
Painterly Character Works - ʡ400
Linework will be completely painted over in favour of full rendering of light, shadows and colour (and texture if the creature has one).
Table Assets
Any of the above options can be worked into table assets. I will not make the table personally, but I'm happy to ensure the finished product fits the sizing you need OR provide a copy that does fit within the size requirements. This does not cost any more or less; simply let me know when you put in the request!
Avatars
If you'd like to use your work as an avatar, please also let me know below. There will be no additional charges or reductions, but I will ensure you have a copy that will work as an avatar too! If you would like a simple background or edit to the avatar copy, please let me know!
Pixel Art Assets
Pixel art table assets or avatars are an exception. If you wish for pixel art assets larger than 25px x 25px, the cost will be increased depending on size and complexity. Please ask for a quote with your full idea and sizing below.
Custom Requests
If what you're looking for isn't listed within the options, you may make a request instead. You will need the full details of what you'd like made, with as much detail as you can manage. I may have a few follow-up questions, but if not, then I will offer a quote of magicka, which you may agree to, refuse, or ask to compromise on.
These requests are not guaranteed to be taken; as per T&Cs, I reserve the right to decline work. It's not personal; it just may be something I do not have the skill for.
How Do I Make A Request?
Leave a post below with the following:
- OOC Name
- The Character you want a work of
- The type of order you want (pixel, animated, painterly, sketch, etc.)
- Whether you want a headshot, partial or full body
- Any add-ons (avatar copies or table resizes)
- Any additional notes; preferred poses, expressions, layouts, etc.
- Tag @Brother or I may miss your post!
If you cannot provide any art of your character, a detailed description with any references linked or sent to me via DMs will be required.
If you would like something that is outside of the standard listing, please leave a post with as much information about what you want as possible.
Don's Skrunglers
The queue will be updated when I take on/post works.
Painterly pieces take a lot of my time. If someone ahead of you within the queue has a painterly piece ordered, it may take some time to get around to the next person in the queue! Please keep that in mind!
