Rimese wandered throughout the room. The wind blew around him, but he hardly paid it any attention. He was used to it, more or less. Occasionally a very strong wind would blow and nearly knock him off his feet, but he would quickly dig his claws in and stay upright, and then continue walking. He didn't really know where he was walking to. He just walked, mostly hoping to find someone else to talk to. He loved talking with others, and hated being alone.

Rimese continued to walk when a harsh wind blew. He wasn't expecting it, and was thus caught off guard. He flopped over in a ball of fur. Black eyes peeked out from where his head lay under his tail. He wished no one had seen that. He should be able to stay upright! So what if he's small. That's no excuse. He let out a huff of frustration. He started to get up, but another harsh wind blew and knocked him back down. He grumbled, before deciding to just lay there.

Destiny had been wandering for a while, her curiosity the powerful thing pulling her onwards. When she got to Orion, she explored for a while and then entered a tunnel, hoping to find her way back to Pisces... Buuuut of course that wouldn't go to plan. Ah, no matter. As little water as there was here, at least she was getting to see more new places!

So she'd waddled on, inquisitively bumping weapons with her bill as she passed them by, couldn't help but wonder what they were in days long gone. And then she continued walking, admiring the craftsmanship of the monsters upon the walls.

She'd followed the mysterious howling sound and soon thd tunnel opened out into an open cavern. And here she felt the breeze falling on her fur. It was nice at first, until the wind picked up. And it dragged at her fur viciously. The little platypus was so low to the ground that she wasn't quite as affected as she could be at first, but as the winds grew stronger she was rolled over onto her back like a little beetle, squirming pathetically.

It was as she squirmed upside down that she noticed a fluffy other lying nearby, seemingly in a similar state to her. Her heart leaped slightly as she noticed that and she struggled to roll back onto her front so that she could go meet them. A few painful moments passed and she seemed very much stuck, but eventually she managed to roll over onto her front and, hugging close to the ground she made her slow way towards them.

"Hey, hey! Ack..." she grunted with the effort. "Who're you? I can help, I c-can help!" she only realized as she got closer that they were quite a bit bigger than she was.

Asurai slowly wandered through the cave as she let out a soft sigh. Her tail hung as low as her head did. She didn't think much of herself, not much at all honestly. She continued to walk until she heard somebody talk. She stopped for a moment and slowly looked up with her bright blue eyes. She stared for a few minutes before looking back down.

"There are some creatures you just can't help."

She spoke quietly and softly. She let out a disappointed yet saddened sigh. Her tail and head continued to lay low as she closed her eyes softly. Suddenly plants began to sprout up and rest upon her soft fur although she didn't react, she didn't care. What did it matter?

Rimese had been laying for some time when the sound of a voice caught his attention. Looking over, he saw an admittedly rather weird looking creature come up to him. She was rather small. He was about to say something when another gembound came up. This one was much bigger, and walked with her head and tail low. Rimese tilted his head as she came up and spoke.

He blinked as he began to notice plants sprout up and rest on her fur. "Whoa, how'd you do that? That's so cool!" The fox bounced right back up before turning his attention to the other, smaller gembound. "Well, you're quite tiny, aren't ye? What's your name?" He looked back at the other. "And what's yours?"

Destiny looked around as much as she could with such a short neck, and eventually caught sight of the larger creature walking past her and the creature that was speaking. The smile that had appeared on her face momentarily faltered but she replied anyway. "I don't think so! she chittered over the howling winds. "Everyone can have help even'f it's j-just making them feel b-betta'." she gave a defiant nod and turned back toawrds the lump of fluff she'd been determined to help. "And I wanna do that for ever'one!"

A hint of childish determination.

"D-D-Dest'ny!" she announced happily, as they asked her name. She lowered her bill bashfully though as he called her tiny. "Well, maybe a little..."

"I suppose that is a nice way of helping," he murmured. "Hello, Destiny. Nice name ye got there. Mine's Rimese. Nice ta meet ya, Destiny." He squeaked in surprise as another wind blew and knocked him off his paws. "Darn that blasted wind! Always knocking me off my paws." He growled slightly before sitting down. Maybe he wouldn't get knocked over so much if he sat down. It was certainly worth a try, that's for sure.

He then looked back over at the wolf. Plants were in her fur, something he found rather interesting. She had clearly done a spell of some sort. Perhaps he could too? He decided to give it a try. Besides, maybe he could impress the others if he performed a spell! Yeah, that'd be nice. He closed his eyes and focused on the gem on his paw. Hopefully this would work.

At first nothing happened. He could feel his heart drop to his paws. He had failed! But then, he began to notice little sprawling fungi pop up around his paws. Aha! So he could do it! He hadn't failed! He felt like yipping in excitement, but quickly decided against it. He had to control himself. Make it seem like he had done this plenty of times before. Oh sure, he could make fungi grow where he touched, no big deal. He wasn't sure if fungi would impress any of them, but figured he might as well try. He spread his paw around, making more fungi pop up. He glanced over at Destiny and the wolf, wondering what their reactions were.

"Aye!" squeaked Destiny, pleased with herself and the way that Rimese had spoken to her. Then again, it was very much apparent that the little girl was easily pleased. "Nice to meetcha too, Rimese!" the little platypus sounded happy, only to give a little cry of shock as she watched Rimese blasted clean off his paws again. And Destiny waddled over to him quick as her tiny legs were able, poking with her sensitive bill to make sure he was alright. No sooner had she started though, was he getting up and sitting back.

Destiny was on the ground in front of the fox, in a position that couldn't really be considered standing or lying down- more like a relaxed land-whale. Or a really wrinkly slug.

As Rimese started to grow fungi at his paws, Destiny gave a tiny gasp. "Oh! I've never seen that k-k-kinda magic before! she lisped and stammered in her excitement. "I can do magic too! I can hear the heart inside of you!" To prove her point, the little thing held her breath and concentrated. The rainbow gem on the back of her head flashed- and then she heard it- their heartbeats! Loud and strong and resonating. She looked happy as ever.

"See?!" she cried ecstatically, and only then did she realize her error. They wouldn't be able to hear it! Of course they wouldn't! The little one fidgeted nervously. "O-oh... forget I said anything," she mumbled, plopping onto the floor and hiding her bill with an enormous flipper.

"I've never really seen many kinds a magic. Just mine, and the wolf's over there. Oh, ye can? That's cool," he said, watching vigilantly. She clearly seemed to be very excited, something that brought a smile to the fox's face.

He blinked as she spoke again. He couldn't really hear anything, but figured that must be because he didn't have that spell. She seemed to realize that he wouldn't hear it either. He hated seeing her so downhearted now, when she had been so excited earlier. "Hey, I believe ya! Don't look so sad, you're a lot cuter when yer happy!" he grinned at her.

@Destiny -Wow that's short sorry-

"Well, I c-c-can! But ah... I d-dunno if it's somethin' that anyone else can see too. Silly me..." she gave a tiny chittering giggle, and shifted her large, awkward flippers bashfully. But within an instant, she seemed to perk up. "But I think I'm g-g-gettin' better at it! Sometimes it doesn't happen at all and sometimes it's real faint. But I c-c-can hear yours real strong!"

And then she seemed to flush again. She played with her flippers, curling up a little, even though her bill was opened up in a wide and excited smile. "Y-you think so?" she stammered, excitement and a flash of hope showing on her face. "C-c-cute? M-me? B-but I got a funny bill and stuff..." she gave a self-depreciating laugh.
