Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
A chrysalis clear in color, large compared to the glowing crystals around it lay still. Outside it seemed that it was nothing special. Seemed that it was dead to the world but if you could take a peek on the inside you would see that it was full of life. A heart beat within, around the heart was a large red furred creature with a smattering of white spots like fallen snow.
Almost as if it sensed the blossoming world around it the creature twitched, gray eyes opening to see the fuzzy image of the world outside. What was out there he wanted. He wished to be in the world, to see what was there. No longer did he wish to hibernate within his cell of crystal.
Another twitch and a break appeared in the egg-like gem. A harder twitched caused a complete tear in the cocoon. One last opened it up so that the fawn slid out onto the ground, out into the world. It's large eyes blinked around while its ears twitched this way and that, listening to the new sounds that were formerly muted but now loud. His eyes shone with a rare intelligence as he slowly registered the noises around him. His steely eyes saw the glowing gems and fungi while the gem as well as the pulse from his heart felt the magic in the air. Everything was so alive... and now so was he.
After a few tries where he stumbled back to the ground he rose on spindly legs. Satisfied at his accomplishment he moved, prepared to explore then leave this place. The more he walked, the more confident he grew. He looked around at everything he could and during this exploration was when he found something new... Another gem but this one looked different. Almost like a cocoon... Was this like what he'd come from? Curious and drawn by a strange power he stepped closer and touched the thing with his nose, he could feel a pulse within. Silently he willed whatever was in to come out.

"Talking looks like this." Thinking looks like this...
The world was silent and warm, still and dark. It was safe, and never changing, every day the same. Not that the thing that observed understood what a day was just yet, because inside of the world time did not seem to exist. Life just was, always warm and the same. It was a wonderful, simple thing, and there was nothing to question or wonder about.
Nothing about life could stay this way forever, however. Although the tiny life did not know this yet, the world had plans for the young it fostered, and the cloudy, semi-translucent world that had always been dark and still became... Something different. The being who loved and lived in this world did not understand at first, as a sound wracked the outside edge, nor did it comprehend the slight shiver that passed through the world. The thing inside had no understanding, only knew that this was Different and suddenly, time became a very real, tangible thing as the creature recognized a steady, sturdy beat. It had always been there, but it wasn't until the Outside sound came that the thing inside recognized there was more to the world.
The crystal of moonstone, smooth like an egg with many shimmering shades of yellow and blue but otherwise icy white, began to quiver. The thing inside felt a pain, and this was something that had startled it. It was horrible, the ache that was followed by fear, but the moonstone seemed perfectly happy to let that creature inside out. It was time, after all, for the little lamb to take its first breath. The shell shattered like a fragile bit of glass as the egg tipped towards the onlooker, and rolling out came a bundle of fluff and legs.
The lamb was carried right to the deer, rolling head over heels, but it suddenly stopped just in front, gasping at the air for the first time. The pain faded, the feeling of air so welcoming to the lungs and the gem that willed the creature to live. Bright eyes flashed and stuck immediately on Vazi, the first thing that the lamb saw.
Although the lamb didn't know much, it knew it wanted to move. So the sheep found its limbs, scattered everywhere, and pulled them under its thin body. Without all the wool, which would grow quite quickly into a mess within the first cycle of life, the lamb looked like nothing more than a fuzzy, black, shorter deer with an oddly rounder face, and though it wobbled the creature managed to stand within moments. The sheep had things to do, places to see. The world was big and huge and, though it was overwhelmed, it wanted to run around and find everything, explore all the things.
Feeling lightheaded, the sheep did nothing more than bleet at the animal in front of it, before its legs gave out and it plopped right back down on its belly.
He waited and waited, intent to wait for all time if that was what was required of him. He just felt, knew, that was was coming from this egg was important. Life changing. He rubbed his nose against the egg, willing whatever was inside to come out.
The wait wasn't much longer...
Out popped a creature not unlike himself with black fur all over. Instantly he felt his heart melt even as the little one tumbled into him. It was like his world stopped and was put on pause just for this one creature... His hooves weren't holding him to the ground anymore. It was this lamb.
He didn't step back, only extended his nose forward and touched the precious one with the tip of his nose. Then and only then did he allow the other room to stand. He watched with baited breath as the other attempted to stand and did so with wobbly legs. He gave a whoop of joy which was cut short when the lamb flopped to the ground. Poor thing, just needed a little encouragement.
Vazi went up to him and gave the little fellow a lick on his nose with an encouraging nuzzle. It was wanting to help this poor fellow that encouraged him to speak. "Come... get up... Is easy. Just... move... legs..." He wanted to speak like he heard the words in his mind but his mouth wasn't ready yet much to his chagrin. This lam deserved the best words and he would learn them for him.

"Talking looks like this." Thinking looks like this...
The little lamb felt so sleepy after standing for half of a second, but the bigger animal that it had rolled into had begun to speak. Words. Words were a thing that the lamb understood but it didn't know why. It blinked slowly, eyelashes batting as it felt the urge to curl up and rest, but... Ah, no, this creature insisted. So with a great effort, the lamb stood up again and tried to understand how the deer had made the noises.
"Baa?" The sheep bleated, tilting its head as it tried to pry open the part of its mind that held reasoning and intelligence. Legs wiggled under the small frame, threatening to fall once more, but instinct kicked in and the sheep stumbled backwards and then started to wobble forward, taking timid steps to stay up.
And so, the lamb started to talk small circles around the one thing it knew in life. The cave floor clacked under its hooves as it started to get its mind stirring, and finally the blood flow worked its way through the creatures body.
"I.. I walk!" The sheep bleated with joy, its tail swishing back and forth. "Look!... Wait... Run! I run!" The sheep picked up speed, getting the hang of its legs as it ran around in the wide circle, ears flapping all about.
A joyous laughter erupted from the lamb as it stumbled and fell to a stop, flopping onto its side. Yes, he remembered, he remembered how to walk, and run, and that he was a he. There was one more thing he knew, although he didn't know how. He knew his name.
So, with a fit of laughter, the lamb strained his head to look at the deer, legs kicking, and grinned. With a joyous bleat, he announced, "Wynry!" Then his head plopped back to the earth as he laughed and laughed, a soft, gentle giggle of pure happiness.
The young fawn saw that the little one attempted to speak just as he had. It let out a little questioning bleat that pulled further at the fawn's heartstrings and caused a little laugh from him. The lamb looked wobbly in his new legs as they looked quite unsteady underneath him. "Whoa! Careful!" He said rushing forward when the little one began to fall backwards. His aim was to steady him but the lamb righted himself with hardly any help. That made the fawn feel better.
The new fluffy animal was so steady that he now began to circle around the red deer. His hooves clacked on the stone floor while the blue-gray eyes of the fawn followed the other. He'd gotten used to his legs right quick. Great! Perhaps they could do some exploring together! "Yes yes! You walk!" Agreed the little fawn. When the other picked up speed he joined in with the laughter and jumped up and down in place excitedly. "Yes yes! You run!" He agreed again.
When the little one stumbled to the ground the deer rushed over to him with a worried expression but calmed when he heard the laughter. His little friend was fine. What a relief! The red deer joined in on the laughter and laid down next to the fallen lamb. He nudged the lamb's head then gave him a lick on the ear. He didn't know why it just felt right to do to show his happiness.
Wynry? What was Wynry? For a moment he sat and thought then decided that was what this young lamb was called. He was a Wynry. "Wynry!" He poked the lamb's ear with his nose playfully before pulling back and thinking. Did he have a name? All of a sudden a sound came to him. "Vazi... Vazi Hasira." He had one too! "Vazi!" He cried again happily as he rose to his little hooves. He poked the lamb with his nose again before bouncing back as if to say "Come on! Let's go play and explore!".

"Talking looks like this." Thinking looks like this...
Wynry's eyes were bright, locked on his only familiar friend in the whole world, the only thing he knew, watching the deer make sense of his outburst. He leaned his head into the soft, tall friend's neck, his eyes batting closed for a moment, his ears hearing the warm, soft heartbeat that belonged to another creature. Such a reassuring sound, the lamb could have fallen asleep right there, and almost did-- until the red deer came up with a name.
At the word, Vazi, Wynry's ears flicked and he blinked, tilting his head to look at the deer. Vazi... Vazi, huh? Yeah, he was Vazi! So they both had names now, and his friend was getting back up, so the lamb ambled to his hooves and flailed his ears, bleating happily as they touched noses.
His friend bounced back, eyes bright, and a dance in his hooves. As if a leash was attached to them, the sheep hobbled forward, bouncing forward with eagerness. Yes, Wynry was ready to explore the whole gosh darn world with his new best friend. He wanted nothing more. His whole body quivered with excitement, tail going around like a helicopter, ears waggling, haunches shivering.
"Vazi, Vazi! Where? Run... Run everywhere?" The little lamb tried to work out the words to express what he wanted, but his legs seemed to think that actions spoke louder than words as his body started to bounce off away from their small patch of light, down the dimly lit path of mushrooms and crystals. It was hard to see, but he was too excited to wait for a few moments-- of course, no one knew the lights were just about to come on.

VAZI HASIRA
"shattered innocence"
The stone in Vazi's chest changed to a new color, an orange one to be precise as his excitement bubbled up to a fever pitch. His fawn friend was happy and he was happy! His own little tail quivered back and forth while he bounced lightly on his hooves. "Run everywhere!" He agreed enthusiastically. With that he took off behind his friend, laughing and giggling with the sheer joy of running.
With his longer legs he could easily catch up to Wynry and he had planned to but the next event caused him to stop and look around with amazement. It had suddenly become light in the cave! Vazi hadn't known that the darkness was different from the light as that was all he knew but now that he had light, he had to admit it was preferable to stumbling around in the dark. Now as he looked back at Wynry he could see the details on his friend that he formerly couldn't. Like how large his cute ears were, the color of his eyes, the texture of his fluff. It was beautiful!
In joy the young stag reared up on his hind legs and boxed the air with his forehooves before taking off towards Wynry, catching him up. "Is light! Come on!" Now with the new light he was able to see a rather large rock near the edge of the room. A rock which would give them a pretty good vantage point to what was around them. He ran up to it and kicked off with his legs to attempt to jump up to it.
He just managed to scramble up onto it. Quickly he turned to find Wynry, prepared to help the lamb up onto the large stone if need be.

Wyn's new friend agreed: Run everywhere! So that was just what he did, his small cloven hooves clacking on the rock floor, bolting from tiny light source to tiny light source-- until something strange happened. Suddenly it was very bright, as if the world woke up, lights turning on because of his clicking, tapping feet. He froze, his eyes wide as he watched the world come to life around him, ears wiggling to hear all the new sounds that came with the light. A low, electrical whirring, distant above where the lights were.
The sheep looked at his fellow deer, eyes bright as he reared up and ran over. It seemed that Vazi wanted to go somewhere, so as he bolted off, Wynry followed like a loyal lamb, until they reached a large bolder. Scrambling up on to it, the deer looked down at him. Climbing rocks? That seemed like the absolute ideal.
Bleating with joy, Wyn eagerly made an attempt to follow his best bud up to the top, to see all that they could see.

It seemed like the lamb was a natural climber. Crying with glee, his tiny hooves easily found handholds and he hoisted himself right up, plopping his body against the deer's legs. His eyes surveyed the huge room, bubbling with excitement. "Look! It's so pretty. Is this everything?" He wondered aloud, stunned by how expansive just this single room in the cave was.
ROLL 19
Wynry attempts Other ( lets get on that big ol rock :3 )
Vazi smiled down at the lamb as he made his climb up far easier than he had! Wow! He was great at climbing! It filled him with an immense joy that his friend was able to climb so well. "Nice job!" He congratulated him enthusiastically. Now his gaze turned to the room once more. Everything was so bright and he could see so well! It was all beautiful from the river to the glowing stones to the blue spire! He breathed a gasp of awe! The world was amazing and filled with all sorts of lovely things!
"No, Wyn... Not everything. This only the beginning!" He didn't know how he knew, he just did. There was a whole world outside of this one area and they should go explore it together! To see what there was to see! To meet any other creatures there were in the cave because he had a feeling that there were others. They just had to find him and he and his little buddy were up to the task.
His head turned to the lamb, eyes shining with joy. "Let's go explore the world." He said enthusiastically. With that he gave one final smile and bounded off. He knew his little lamb friend would follow even before he stopped to look back with tail twitching and hooves ready to leap. They would go and take the world together. Nothing would hold them back from it or each other.

His new friend told him that this was not everything. Somehow, even on top of this rock, seeing all of the cave before him, this couldn't be everything. Yet there was so much! It filled his heart with joy to know there was absolutely so much to explore. It might take them days to even cover just this one room-- but no, Wyn wanted to see it all and gosh darnit he was gonna!
"I wanna see it all!" He bleated, his tail wiggling along side Vazi's. His bright eyes took in the scene once more, and then he leaped down off the rock and bounded off with his friend. Where would they go! He didn't know, but his chest swelled with joy as his pelt trembled, racing along the earth with pounding hooves. Where first, where first!

"I wanna go here, and there, and over--" midway through his excited spiel, racing along the lit paths with enthusiasm, the young lamb's voice shifted slightly around him. His voice seemed to almost echo or waiver around him, as if his tone was trying to show where he wanted to go by carrying oddly in different directions. "There! And over there!" Wyn wanted to go and never, ever stop. Not until he had seen everything.
And the giant machine that chugged away on the riverbed caught his eyes first. What a strange thing! Everywhere had fungi and crystal, but this thing was dull in color and big. It wasn't like a rock, and it almost seemed alive. So the young lamb bolted off towards it. "What's this! What's this! Vazi! What is it?"
