Hustling and Bustling!
March OTMs and Mutation Slot Drawing!
Alright, you all picked them, and here are the Of the Months of March. Congratulations to
Todd as our CoTM,
Odyssey + Othello as our PoTM, and
Azooka as our MoTM. Don't forget to read our Thread of the Month,
Wharrgarbl P2!
( Art for our winners will be a little delayed this month. Sorry for the inconvenience! )
Along with our Of The Month's winners, the staff of Origin have hosted the very first official drawing for a
Mutation Slot
, and our winner for this month is...
Zaz! Congratulations! The icon will be added under your name in our member list when you use it, and you now have a Mutation Slot to use whenever you wish. Just remember to clear your design with Madison, first!
Remember that those eligible for the monthly drawing are those who voted in the most recent Of The Months. Don't worry if you didn't win. There's always an opportunity to next month!
Activity Check
It's been a while since staff performed an activity check, and the one we had planned for March 1st got a little delayed, but don't fret! It's right
here! It's easy to let us know that you're still around, and this is a great time to clean up your character rosters if you have some that you'd like to have set inactive or perhaps bring a few back. The deadline is
March 18th @ 11:59 PM CST!
Suggestions!
The staff of Origin would like to remind you all that our
Words of the Day, as well as
Origin's Anniversary Suggestions, threads are still open! We've extended the deadline of the WoTD contest, and hope to get some great submissions!
Reminders
As usual, we'd like to remind you guys about a few things...
Vote for Origin!
At the bottom of the index in our affiliates section we have a button for
Animus Top 50. If you'd like to help out raising awareness about Origin, you can click that button and vote for us! Of course this isn't necessary, only a small favor to Origin should you choose to do it.
Cave Status Update
The caves seem to be manifesting its wondrous magicka in the 'skies' of Orion and Polaris, as they are lit up by brilliantly colored auroras.
Quest: Dungeons & Dungeons
Pieces of the statue are scattered around Origin Cave! Don't forget to make threads in tunnels and rooms searching for them, and to make a GM request to see if your characters have found any!
Quest: Wharrgarbl P3
Staff would like to remind members about
Wharrgarbl P3 still being open! We'd like just a few more characters to join in before the
real fun begins.
The Cave Report
Dancing in Your Eyes
What seems like a perfectly innocent thread between a couple that previously won Pair of the Month has been crashed by a particularly moody black cat that's pretty bent on wrecking everything. Sounds just about normal for Origin.
These are hard times for dreamers
Alright, who's ready to get their heart violently torn out of their chest with feels? Nobody? Well, too bad. These are hard times for dreamers begins with the ever-present internal struggle between Clover and Belladonna, but when Bartos steps in... things get really feelsy.
Give Your Soul to Me (Trigger Warning!)
Who knew that this was the thread that they needed and wanted? The clash between Origin's two greatest villains, Belladonna and Gadanai, seemed so inevitable, and it's just so satisfying. It's a great thread, but when Jasmine and Bartos jump in, things take a sharp turn to feelsville.
Mirror, Mirror
Mirror, Mirror is a cute little thread between the loveable wolf pups Kin-Kin and Rinaotei as they discover ice and snow for the very first time. It's such a sweet and innocent little thread (compared to the others in this Cave Report, yeesh) and it just begs to be read.
If something interesting is happening in your thread, send a PM to the Origin Cave account or alert the staff in the cbox. We'd love to cover it in the current or next issue of The Cave Report!
