A heavy sighed escaped the lips of the maned wolf as three black legs carried his grey body over to a large structure resembling a chair. His fourth leg, held tighly against his chest, remained swollen and broken at the wrist. He wondered if it'd ever heal, though surely not without treatment. Unable to heal it himself, much less scavange for the items needed to do so, he sucummed to the idea of shearing it off or letting the paw lose it's purpose completely and hobble around like this forever. The thought of never returning to Monoceros visited his mind frequently. Although he knew he was hardly noticed in the group, he wondered if anyone knew he was gone. It was nothing new though, if they had. Many disappeared and hadn't returned yet, so he was probably assumed to be one of them. He longed to return, though, and wished he could just heal his paw so he could.
He got to the throne and sighed before heaving himself onto it's large seat. Laying down, forepaws over the edge, he looked over Orion. He saw the place he fell from and looked away and up, at the glittering crystals above. He could still live here if it wasn't for his tie to the Merry Men. Without Odyssey, Iliad, or Louie, he wondered why he wanted to return so bad. It wasn't like they were coming back any time soon, which he realized a while ago but refused to admit until now. Sighing again, the stilted fox gingerly laid his head on his healthy leg, and watched out over the empty room, avoiding the throb in his broken wrist.

Although Tuck had been in Orion before, he’d never been to this particular part, this darker, closed off area with a giant stone slab of some kind sitting in its center. He was becoming more used to traveling to places outside his home in Eridanus, especially now that he had a nice handcrafted bag that he could use if he ever needed to carry anything small back with him. And he was also becoming steadily more proficient in Magic, and looked for every opportunity to cast spells, even to the point of exhausting himself.
Since it was darker in this part of Orion, due to the decaying walls surrounding the throne, Tuck didn’t see the dark shape lying on top of it until he was much nearer, and then he simply stopped and stared up at the creature. “Uh, hey,” he said awkwardly, for the first time in his life not jumping backwards out of fear. He liked to think that perhaps he was getting over that, and only did so when he was in actual danger. Not all Gembounds were crazy monsters, after all.

Atop his throne, he began to nap. Despite the throbbing pain in his paw, the gembound needed some rest. His lids were heavy, fighting sleep until they could no more. His adrenaline was gone, tiring him out almost immediately as it ran out. A final sigh before the man was in a deep sleep, hopefully to not be bother unless someone could help him.
There was a voice then, a small one, but enough to wake up the sleeping gembound. The being the voice came out of, however, was much harder to notice. He squinted for some time, trying to locate the small monkey. When he finally did, he yawned and focused on the smaller gembound some more. Tilting his head uo an acknowledment, he doubted this gembound could offer him any reprieve so he let him leave if he so desire.

Had Tuck been any younger or less experienced than he was, he might have missed what was going on and what he had just interrupted — a nap. But he was quickly learning what he needed to in order to survive in an environment where everyone was bigger than him, and interrupting the nap of an obvious carnivore wasn’t the best thing he could have done. “Oh — uh — sorry,” he stuttered, beginning to back up out of the throne room. “I didn’t know you were — you were sleeping. I—I’ll just go, then…” He continued inching his way to the outside world again, too scared, truth be told, to turn his back on the Gembound who was lying up on the throne.

Othello frowned when the tiny marmoset stumbled over his words and kept to himself. He was no warmonger, only a peaceful little maned wolf that could hardly walk. He was bound to be here a while if he couldn't find help and this monkey was all he had. At the very least, maybe he coud trade services with them. They seemed very timid, but he wondered. He didn't have much to offer really, but if he could get that monkey to go to Monoceros (and hopefully not get eaten once he got there) then he'd be saved!
Standing then, on only three legs with the other held close to his chest for protection, he hoped the monkey noticed his paw was nearly double the size of his others. The monkey was so small, barely visible from atop the throne, but Othello feared getting down would make it worse, but he had to try...
It wasn't a terrible idea, but trying to get down probably wasn't exactly a good idea. His footing wasn't sure and he slid most of the way down, cutting up the pads of his good paws on the stones, but he didn't fall or make his broken wrist worst. He was still exhausted though, and found it difficult to stand once he made ot to ground level. Sitting, he eyed the monkey, hoping he could see better now... But how could he ask him for help, should the monkey stay?
@tukluk youre choice on if you want him yo stay, i dont care xD

Oh no, the other Gembound was standing and — wait. Tuck immediately noticed the gross swollen paw held close to the creature’s body, and noted that it seemed to have trouble getting down from the throne it had been lying on. It still didn’t speak to him, which made him a bit wary, considering only Lesser Gembounds couldn’t speak, and he’d never seen a carnivorous Lesser Gembound before. “Um, I see you hurt your paw,” Tuck said to the creature, hoping to elicit some kind of verbal response so that he could figure out once and for all if this… dog-like Gembound was intelligent.
Feeling a bit brave, Tuck hopped forward a step or two. “I could give you something for that, maybe. Maybe something to help with any pain. Or… I dunno if I know anything that brings swelling down… Lemme think.” Tuck, having set up his home in Eridanus, knew quite a lot of plants that grew there. “Hmm… Tamusen helps with pain and… uhh… Oh! The leaves of the Iceberry Bush help with inflammation and they can keep a wound from getting infected.” He chuckled then. “I had to learn those two the hard way when I gave myself a nasty poison ivy rash a few weeks ago…”
The whole time he spoke, Tukluk kept his orange eyes on the Gembound, in case it lunged at him or something. He was offering his help, of course, but he still didn’t know if he could trust the creature.

The little monkey stuck around once he actually noticed he was in pain, unable to put weight on his swollen, broken wrist. He began to talk more then, about herbs and other things that could help him. Othello himself wasn't aware of any plants and their medicinal properties, but he trusted this younger gembound. He really seemed to know what he was talking about.
He stopped where he was and sat before easing himself into laying in a sphynx like position some feet away from the marmoset. He extended that paw out before laying his chin down. He had no intentions of hurting this little monkey, even if he couldn't help him. He did seem to know what he was talking about though, so Othello would be pretty upset if they refused to help. Just telling him the names of the plants were of no use to him, having no idea where to find them and what to do with them... Not to mention the inability to get to them. Before long, there'd be even more damage to his wrist because he went without treatment, and he didn't want to risk his paw being like this forever...

Tuck watched the creature for a moment, noting how it seemed utterly exhausted even lying down, and decided to just go ahead and try to help it. He was about to grow a Tamusen plant from his body, but he winced at the thought. He’d been experiencing some pain lately due to the roots of the plants he grew reaching down into his skin and damaging it. He decided to give himself a break this time, and instead put his little bag down and rooted around inside it until he turned up a Tamusen seed. He turned back around and looked for a spot in this room that had some dirt. There wasn’t much because the floor was stone, but the building was old and crumbling and there were dusty corners and crumbling bits on the ground. He supposed that would have to do for “soil.”
“Wait here,” he told the Gembound, placing the seed on the ground in front of him, and then scampered around the room scooping little bits of grime into his tiny paws and then pouring it on top of the seed. When he thought he’d gotten enough, he tamped it all down and then sought out his Magic. “Okay, seed,” he said aloud, though quietly and to himself, “grow.” It did, and soon there was a small little Tamusen branch growing up out of the dirt with a few scant red leaves on it. Tuck looked up at the Gembound with the hurt paw. “Go ahead and chew those leaves and swallow them, and your pain should go down.”
EDITING AN ENDING (a little bit of an assumption going on here so if Rasta comes back and doesn't like it, they can just PM me and ask me to change it):
However, the wolf-like creature never ended up eating the leaves of the plant. It seemed the strain of moving around at all while injured made him fall asleep. Tuck watched as his eyes closed and soon he was snoring lightly. Feeling a little awkward at the change of events, the marmoset decided to just leave the Tamusen plant where it was and let the Gembound sleep. Quietly, he crept from the crumbling room and went off to explore more of Orion.
