Updates are happening
What's in store for you
To kick off this updating frenzy that will be going on in the next couple of weeks I just want you guys to know there was a great decision to lower the magicka cost of the Spell borrows! they have been reduced to about half of what they used to cost and we hope this change will greatly please our members as it has been suggested and or asked by several of our members through the year. This is the first update to many that is planned out. But, to give you guys an idea of what we have in store, here is a list of what will be going on.
— Contests are underway of being designed. Once the Olympics are settled we hope to have the next few ready for Origin.
— New Quests! There are new things fixing to happen with Origin! Keep an eye out for these quests as they will be popping up slowly and hopefully you guys will enjoy the outcome of them each.
— Questionnaire. Origin has been alive for a year and a half now we would like to hear and actually change what you guys think needs updated and or changed. A new thread will eventually be placed up for you guys to throw in your ideas, but do please keep in mind that I am limited with what I can change and Edit. I will do my best to do as you guys want, but don't be disappointed if I cannot.
— A new FAQ list. Seeing as I cannot access certain parts of the board to edit/make changes into the Guidebook. We have decided that we will set up a new FAQ list that will cover some questions that the Guidebook seems to be missing. There will also be a thread made for things you guys think should be in the FAQ that is not answered in the Guidebook.
— And more! We don't want to ruin surprises just yet! But the above list is what will be on the agenda first and for most before the rest is worked in!
We are still accepting Staff Applications.
Don't forget, if you haven't already, to go and apply to be a member of Origin Staff! We are excited to receive any and all applications. The deadline for applying for staff will be
September 9th. Hopefully this will give people enough chance to apply and even for Briar and Myself to go over each application and review them together.

Monthly Awards and OTMs
Unfortunately for now. The OTM's will be put on hold until the updates are finished as well as the new staff are hired. We hope to start our next OTM voting at the end of September, so hopefully by then we will be ready and able to start producing the rewards for winning such items. Also, there may be a change coming for the Member of the Month. We feel as if a mention for the Member of the month just isn't enough. We haven't quite decided yet on what the reward will be placed for the MotM, but we will let you guys know when we have made that decision :).
