Polaris was such a wide room, much larger than the others, with many more things inside. Xerxes hadn't really appreciated it until now, while he looks around the room. Cure being off his mind for now was helpful, but itbwas there, lurking. He felt the need to run, as if it's help, but chose to stay in place, at least for now.

Actually, he was kind of tired, and thinking about it made him yawn a wide, long yawn that looked like a muted roar. It'd been so long since he roared a mighty roar, but he felt little purpose these days. Instead, he just slept anf ate his way through the days. The guardians hadn't done much, Cure was MIA, and well... He had no other friends. What was he to do with his days?

Alone traveled the young canine, like a certain lion he wasn't doing much these days, just roaming the tunnels and looking for anything he could get himself into. And by "get himself into" he meant find any new gembounds to bring onto his side. One could never have too many allies and after making one of that snake he was feeling particularly giddy. There was a pep to his step as he trotted forward towards the area of Polaris. Rumor had it that there was some sort of event going on here very soon, perhaps he should go first to see who he could schmooze.

Right on cue it seemed that he would be meeting a somebody today. A particularly big somebody. That made his lips curl up into a grin but the one on his face just seemed friendly while the thoughts in his head only centered around what making friends with this guy could do for him. Mayhaps it would be something good. The dog's tail gave a friendly wag while he let out a little bark in greeting. "Hello there, stranger. I hope I'm not interrupting you?" Obviously not but some creatures could get annoyed about their naps which from the yawn was what it looked like to the dog.

Hearing someone enter the room and moving towards him, he thought nothing of it. Instead, he ignored it, knowing well it wasn't Cure. She was stealthy. This gembound was not. His ear tweaked around to listen, but otherwise he laid still, waiting. It wasn't until the other gembound spoke that he turned and looked at the odd, seemingly hairless dog. He'd never seen anything like it before, but you couldn't tell based on his expression.

"Oh, no just lazing around. What're you doing here?" Perhaps this dog had a better reason to venture to Polaris than he, or perhaps not. Since Xerxes came here for no real purpose, it was pretty impossible to not have a better reason.

The dog's tail began to wag slowly, pleased that he wasn't interrupting anything and that the cat didn't seem to be upset with him. His large ears pricked forward to listen to what the lion had to say. "I came to see if the rumors I heard were true. You know, about the 'Lymptics'?" Or whatever it was called, maybe the dark feline would know what he was talking about. "Doesn't look like much is going on though." Really, this place seemed like a ghost town.
