Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
Darkness. Oh sweet darkness. The magnificent shroud had cast over all the caves, diminishing all the light that anyone had been able to see. Paws moved silently, prowling through the darkness as bright yellow eyes stared out ahead. If one were to look upon the dark shadow of her being they would see blue dots floating, moving slowly through the darkness, just faintly glowing.
It had been some time since her precious Star had fallen back within he chrysalis. Most likely to receive fresh new gifts bestowed upon them by the Gods above. There were no other reason for her Star to have slipped back into the confines that which they had been cast down into what feels like eons ago. A wicked smirk slid across her features as she proceeded along her way, following along the ledge she was bravely walking along.
Moooosi, my darling Star, you will arise once more...and when you do...it will be time... Her voice cackled out through her mind as her tails swished.
Alas, while the Moon Goddess awaited her Star's return she would practice and perfect her gifted abilities. A gem, shaped into a crescent moon that settled perfectly upon her forehead flashed to life. Lightning up the darkness for a brief moment she called upon her micro cloud, if only to practice spreading it through the air. Should there be anyone within the vicinity that happened to inhale then it would work to her advantage even more.
Even a snake needed an adventure now and then. So, Egahi struck out to see outside of Canis in the first time in ages. Monoceros was apparently the first to be seen, a place entirely unfamiliar to her. The heat was nice, her energy overflowing, crawling well paced as she flicked her tongue in the air, grabbing up scents and... particles? She paused and flicked her tongue a few more times, also smelling a presence not too far away from her. Thus, she continued on, her white scales sure to stand out even in the darkness, should one look hard enough.
Paws continued to move gracefully along the ledge, not a sound was heard from the feather light footsteps. Though, at the subtle sound of something sliding across rock, just barely heard to hear now twitching ears the Goddess slowed to a stop. Her head lifted proudly, ears twisting around to search for that sound, but it seemed to have vanished. A deep rumbling purr vibrated the creatures chest as she craned her head around, gazing behind her in sinister curiosity. Nostril's flared as she inhaled the scents the air had to offer and when a new one graced her senses another dark grin slid over her shadowed features. It was then that she caught the dull white against the dark abyss.
Small and almost completely looked over, but what kind of Goddess would she be if she could not even pluck out a creature in the darkness. "Helloooo, little creature," her voice was dark and voluptuous, purring smoothly in a sinister venom. Though she could not fully make out exactly what this creature was, she was sure if it came closer she would be able to at least make out it's breed.
A wicked smirk curled at her features as she quickly pushed her magicka to obey. The moon on her forehead once more glimmering to life and flashing through the darkness. Eagerly she waited, to see if her magicka would obey. If not, she would simply call upon it once more.

A voice broken apart the silence in the cave, but only briefly. The silence that fell back was deafening; not a vibration stirred the air and it drove the snake's sensory wild with need for more feed. She slithered closer, tongue sweeping the air repeatedly. Finally, when she was withing striking distance, she rose up to be face-to-face with the furred creature.
Egahi's tail coiled protectively around her gem as it sparked to life, making her scales glow. The light reflected off of Zelena's gem, making them both kind of look like they were glowing. Again, her tongue reached into the air, her unblinking eyes staring into the canine before her.
"Salutations... I am Egahi," she said, replying to the words earlier spoken. Her head bobbled and weaved very slowly and very slightly, preparing for the vibrations to come while looking over her new acquaintance over as thoroughly as possible in the new given light that would eventually fade back into darkness. "Who are you?"

Goddess of the Moon

The creature moved closer, that much Zelena could just barely hear of it's smooth scales slithering along the ground. She was beginning to just make out exactly what this particular creature was. Soon, a light began to glow from the creature and Zel slowly arched a brow as she now looked over the splendorous creature now clearly before her. A deep, thoughtful purr rumbled deep in the creature's chest as all six tails flipped and twisted around simultaneously.
Of course! Of course it would be a moon child that dared came across her path so...bravely. Her muzzle stretched back, baring all rows of her sharp obsidian fangs. This creature was most definitely created in her image. "Where did you come from, my precious little moon child," she questioned curiously, voice once again a voluptuous purr
A very interesting wolf with curved horns. She couldn't recall having ever seen one like this before, but she found her interesting to look at. The words she spoke were sweet and oddly soothing, the stronger vibrations practically cooing to the serpent. Moon child was a new pet name. She'd been referred to bones before, though, which she missed. Everything fell apart with time...
Egahi snapped herself out of the pit of her mind, coming back to face Zelena again. The realization her own question had never been answered made her less starry-eyed and more focused. A little louder, she said, "Who are you?"
Tongue flickered.
"I came from Canis. I was once bound to bones, but that has long since faded, not unlike the lights that once lit our ways."

Goddess of the Moon

Yellow eyes brightened and shown in a sinister manner against the Moon Child's glowing scales. She would do nicely in aiding Zelena's work. Slowly Zelena gracefully sat upon her haunches, wrapping her pristinely groomed tails around her legs. Still her bio-luminescent, though now dim against Egahi's glow, still continued to hold it's light. Her moon child spoke her question again. One Zelena had skipped over the first time the little pale scale had spoke it.
"I am...Zelena, Goddess of the Moon," she introduced herself finally, holding herself proudly as her voice purred in a strange accent. "The very one YOU have been imaged after," A venomous smirk curled over her features again as she looked upon the pale creature before her. "Canis, you say? I have yet to grace this...Canis with my presence," she hummed deeply as her thoughts roamed to the idea that she may just have to go visit this place now knowing that.
"My precious Moon Child...what say you accompany in my...quest?" Her voice was alluring and nearly seductive, yellow eyes glowing in eagerness to hear the child's answer, "I can show you things never before seen...- GIVE you things no one else can. Teach you...all that the Gods have to teach."

Egahi tilted her head at the word 'Goddess,' having never heard the word used before. Then again, she'd never met one who'd considered themselves godlike. If snaked could squint, she would of at the claim of imagery. How? She was scaled after all, and this Moon Goddess was very much not. She grew suspicious, tightening her coils.
"A goddess? How am I in your image, exactly?"
Egahi wanted to trust this beautiful and curious creature, but she needed answers. More questions only blossomed as she continued on about seeing and knowing by the gift of the Goddess herself, which earned only more wishful, imagined squinting from the snake. In reality, her face remained the same, an occasionally tongue wiggling at Zelena with a purpose.
"What.... what will you give and what would you show?"
"Why, because you are a moon child! And I am the Goddess of the Moon. You have been blessed with the Moon's light...so thus...the deities have created you in my image," She purred lowly, chuckling almost menacingly. It had to be true! No creature would have such beauty if they were not a child of the moon. They would not be blessed with it's light either.
"More than your mind could imagine, my precious little Moon Child," She chuckled lowly again, keeping her eyes trained and unblinking on the snake before her.
Again, the calling of "Moon Child" tickled a spot in Egahi's ego. The explanation was unusual, causing her to want to know more... learn more. And the promises of more beyond her mind excited her further, an involuntary hiss creeping from her lips. Slowly, she lowered her posture, flicking her tongue as usual.
"Will you teach me more... if I go with you?" Egahi slithered between her feet, moving to inspect the creature from the side, forever intrigued by her shining speckles. Like stars. "And what if my scales cannot keep up with your paws, Moon Goddess?"
