Focus, Yinehi. Fo-cus. She hoped being in a humid, moist room would help. The minerals adjusted again, trying hard. With a twinge of pain, a small flower started to grow, but didn't get far. Not even and unopened bloom, but that was something. It would grow with time. Gigatsuhali have big sigh, a slight grin upon her face. A success, even if it was a small one. To decorate herself was a bit of a goal, with herbs and green stuff to use later on. Closing her eyes, focusing again. The plant on her breast grew a little more, sprouting a second stem with a pair of leave, while the other gave the first, tiny formation of a bud. Her smile widened, but these successes were small. She wanted more. Craved it even if it hurt. She preened the feathers around her new sprouts, noting a hint of blood. With a little separation of her feathers, she could even see the roots buried just under the surface. It was weird, but beautiful. A host for life. Again, Gigatsuhali put her focus into her magicka. She hoped for some sage upon her back, feather ruffling and spreading apart as her effort was made. Once more there was a hint of success as the slight smell of the plant reached her nostrils. She looked at herself, finding the infant plants between her feathers. Another sigh. It was a start. Something she could easily work with. Perhaps she could work up to growing fungus on her body. Mosses and mushrooms. With her bits and pieces, she realized she hadn't eaten and now her gut growled. Energy was draining from her during the start of her performance. Perhaps it was time to use her own element to cure her hunger pains. A reliance of the bacteria in her life, which worked well enough, but not to the degree she hoped. Focusing again, she called upon her microscopic friends. She ached for success in this, but there was nothing. Not and ounce of reaching, until she realize the hunger in her stomach grew a little more from the wasted energy. What's off about you today? Usually she didn't do so terribly, but she was starting to feel the disappointment creep in. Barely successful and now complete failure. A reverse in her hunger wasn't at all what she wanted. A deep breath with a slow exhale. Come on, Yinehi. You can do this. You know you can. Another ounce of success. She determined it was 'good enough,' knowing she needed to work on other things again. Host again, perhaps. Another tear into her flesh. Maybe this was her way of self-harming. She pondered on it for a moment, then shook her head. She didn't need to think like that. Not right now. "Hmm... let's try to grow this sage a little more." So she focused on it. Slowly, he creeped up, growing a little taller. Soon it stuck up past her covering, strong enough to push past it now. She closed her eyes again, suddenly plopping down onto the cold stony ground. A shiver ran up her spine, but it was soon gone as the stone under her was soon warmed. "Again! Try again!" she shouted at herself. Giga wanted to divide her efforts this time, but only succeeded in growing a third leaf on the smaller sprout. This was getting increasingly frustrating for the bird and she screeched. And sighed. Slowly, she got to her feet and wandered to the waterfall and looked up at it, finding it mysterious. What if one swam up into it? What would they find? It was tempting, but she did not yet have any water spells. Nothing to help her survive the water and it's lack of air. One more try, then a break. This time nothing happened. She truly screamed this time, feeling some roots die within her as the mineral diminished in part of her skin, far too rapidly. She must of been too weak, so rest was quite a need, now. Maybe with a little time to recharge, she could manage something stronger; better than she'd been doing. It felt proper to wade into the water, just up to her chest. With a dip of her head and body, water rushed over her, drenching her plants in something both body and plant needed. A little nourishment. Her wings splashed more water over her back. A bath was just what she needed. A refreshing feeling as she settled in, letting herself sink into the liquid wonder.
