010. What's Dead Is Dead
Please do not transfer magicka or spells from your inactive or dead characters to your currently active ones. It imparts an unfair advantage to your character. While there are mechanics in place to prevent this, don't try to find a way to do it, or we'll find out. It shows up on your activity log.

This rule has widely gone ignored and while activity was extremely slow we did not do much about it. Now that activity is picking back up, please remember this rule in the future. Thank you.

We have disabled donations. We will add "manual transactions" to the Magicka Market for now, if you need to pay another user or want to donate between your actively played characters (excluding newborns).

We will be working on reversing a lot of donations that have happened recently that should not have. We appreciate your patience. Any purchases made with recently donated magicka after this news post will also be reversed. Our rollback period will be focusing on the month of November and may take us some time to get through all of them.

We apologize that this rule has gone unenforced which may have created a comfortable and misunderstood idea that this sort of thing was acceptable.

Magicka Event — Catch Me If You Can!
It is our fault that this rule was not enforced and may have created some misunderstandings with our playerbase. Please bear with us as we work to create an area of balance.

We will be hosting a Magicka event based on rolls so that you may choose to participate with one or more active characters to earn magicka for the duration of the day/thread per round of posting.

Regarding Rolled Back Characters
Dead or inactive characters that have sold all of their spells for magicka and sent this magicka to another character, cannot have this action reversed.

However, in light of this RECENT rule reminder, if this was done during the month of NOVEMBER and your magicka has been ROLLED BACK, and you still have interest to play the inactive character you stripped, you may request THROUGH PM'ING CJ to have your actions reversed; but you will start with 0 Magicka on that character if your spells are returned.

Magicka cannot be transferred off of your "revived" character for 5 cycles and the character must have occurred at least 20 posts during those 5 cycles to be considered active.

Magicka sent between characters that is gained by selling all spells is considered in violation of the rule, even if your character is "active." Selling a few for some extra magicka is something that we don't mind, but we will watch for a complete strip of a character solely to give another a large advantage.

Magicka cannot be sent to a character born in the same cycle as the request or future/a newborn.
